Hello everyone! I just recently found this thread and I would love to join! I don't know if there is something I need to fill out, but I'll do whatever it takes. >3<

@Rabbitheart Oh yes! Finally someone is trying out for my Steampunk lynx. I though he was going to be in his Kennel forever! And trust me, researching Steampunk is totally worth it. steampunk is my life

This round's competition is making me pretty nervous since I'm after kennel 37. This is going to be my most elaborate form yet, I just hope I can compare to everyone else trying out for Flora. ;o;

This round, I'm trying out for 2 characters. I'm going for Nova the reindeer, and I'm trying out for the Steampunk anthro Lynx. X3 I'm working on the forms now before posting them so that they at least have some content. X3
I seriously had to do some research on steampunk because while I do know of it, I don't understand it terribly well beyond the point of knowing that it's a subculture that is inspired by the 19th century Industrialization and generally uses the setting of the Victorian era or the Wild West. Pretty much all I know about steampunk was whatever I got out of the episode "Punked" from an episode of Castle. X3
But I think it's worth the research, I figure if I can understand it better, it might help me bit with my form. :lol:

As a former judge for PoH and current judge for SCAA, incomplete forms winning over completed ones is actually not strange and happens pretty often, especially if the incomplete form is longer and/or more interesting than the completed one.

As far as research, the wikipedia page on steampunk is actually pretty useful, as are the reference links they provide. Hopefully they can help you out some. <3

Steampunk is pretty cool ^^ I did some research for an old Kiamara form that I won ;v;

I think I'll only be applying for two this round (One Day and Neapolitan), which means that I have a ton of competition. I find it unlikely that I'll win both [tbh, I'm expecting another Adelardo and Fedora situation Dx], but it's worth a huge shot so I'm going to be focused and write a bunch for these two. *promises*

As for the steampunk gentleman....well...I'll figure something out beyond wanting him to be a bartender at a steampunk joint/place/whatever. X3

Fffftt Micki, I adore all of your designs. I would definitely be interested.
Mostly in natural markings like spots and stripes, but I love swirls and stuff like that too. o3o Natural bases (I don't think we've had a black big cat character with some unnatural markings in a while) of any sorts (black, white, grey, especially tan and brown) and unnatural markings like Wes always likes.
