Third Pokemon doesn't appear until the person who's Friend Code the Safari is connected to beats the elite four, and with so many better games, people just aren't playing X and Y anymore, especially because Nintendo never patched ANYTHING from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire into X and Y. You can't play competitively between OR/AS with X/Y because the new Mega Evolutions were never written into X/Y coding. And I seriously doubt Nintendo will ever take the time to code an update that includes all the new Mega Evolutions they put in OR/AS

Yes you can't find a pokemon with hidden ability unless all 3 pokemon are unlocked. With that said it only gives you the chance to find hidden ability but it IS in there. You just have to encounter a few different pokemon to find it.

I suggest you bring a pokemon with trace ability to see when you run into the hidden ability.

Ive never seen a HA appear in a 2 friend safari. Maybe you have to have a pokemon game though? people i added who had animal crossing didn't have ha appear in theirs.

Well I'm testing it out now. I happen to have two 3ds and a completed y game and a x game at the beginning of the game.

8 so far and still no HA

Edit: 16 no HA so I think it's safe to assume that you need 3 pokemon in the safari.
