Can you please explain to me what charaters are?

Characters are various humans, animals, mythical beasts, etc. that people create/design or adopt from others. People do different things with their characters. Some people write full on stories with their characters, while others might just write a biography (personality, short history, etc) for each character. Some might just collect designs, name them, and trade them with people. A lot of people will order art of their characters from people with art shops, too.

For example, I just designed myself a new character.



Her name is Brennan Skalle, and her nickname is Brenn. I named her after Temperance Brennan from the t.v. show Bones (it's my favorite show right now), and skalle means skull in Swedish. (Fans of the show may remember the episode where Bones kept correcting people's pronunciation of skalle!)

Thanks. xD I wanted to create a character based on Bones because I've been watching episodes on netflix. The bone and bead accessories were the first thing I thought of. The actual design was harder to do. I often think the designs I make are so drab in comparison to other designs I've seen, but I've been told repeatedly that I need to stop thinking like that.

And I'm not the best, but I'll try really hard and pray that you like it! >:D
And as for difficulty? He shouldn't be too hard. And if he is, then that just means that the art will take a little longer.
