However, I think that a natural disaster would be pretty fun. I think a flood would make it easier for them to return, or at least they could return sooner, unless the forest fire isn't really all that alarming/chaotic. In which case, they both sound good. C8

I know a flood would freak Devi out. xD However, I feel a fire would drive them more into the mountains and pose more of a challenge. Plus, it's better for the local ecosystem as a whole as it'd replenish the soil and make the valley very fertile. They'd come back to promising growth rather than drowned plant life and swamp-ish land.
