Also for quips don't forget fairy quip? I think it's a thing. Since they have the characteristic mask horizontal quip. Idk.

Oh and I remember reading something about that! So Fairy quip, I also vaguely remember from searching through the adopts snake quids, acorn quids and there was birdcatch spots? Are these real special in any way or just another form or quip or...?

Raziel is an Acornquid. :3 You can use him in the slideshow, though I forget what - other than being based off of an acorn - makes him so. xD
Birdcatchers aren't really quipping. They're white spots on a coat that aren't dapps, paint, or things like that. ^^; They're more base coat things, like the roans are.
Snake quids are based off of snakes, and are characterized by bright reddish oranges/yellows in their mane. I think Reaper's one, but I'm not sure, as Nix never said, and she's not on for me to ask. :P Whisky's Styx and Jen's Azi are the most memorable snakequids I can think of at the moment.

I just had a quick look for Birdcatch Spotted Equids, but couldn't find any using the search function so I will just leave them out for now xD
Hmm I have seen one other Acornquid, I will have to try and find it again. So basically they are just a themed equid that is based off an acorn, however cannot breed with another acorn-themed quid and the offspring won't be considered acorn-quids?
As for snake quids, same thing - based off of snakes, no snake x snake breeding, and because the offspring would not be snake-quids then I would assume the colours would not be as bright...?

Yeah, for being something marked only 'rare', birdcatchers are nigh impossible to find. xD I thought they were banned, because I hadn't seen one in forever, apparently not - they're mentioned as allowed in the 200 challenge thread for fullbody challenge customs.
Folk made all of the acorns, they're not too incredibly hard to find. c: Looking for Razi and picking out a few equids in the pages around him seems to work, or you can just run a search for "oak" in her posts' titles.
As for the snakes - that'd be correct. ^^; They're like the Dracs, in that respect, I think.
All special themequids can't breed amongst themselves, save for the skeletons - they're special in that regard, so we can breed full skellys. :3

Back in the older days there once was a WME with birdcatcher spots however, he was a newly custom, and the owner decided to quit WMEs and had that particular Equid deleted. So they are possible, it just hasn't happened yet.
