So how do we get people from disparate cultures and places all together in the same place?

Roleplayers convention or something? Nyeh?

(Pssst has anyone read the classic sci-fi book, the Day of the Triffids? Best apocalyptic book ever, if dated. I would love love love to roleplay out something in that situation.)

Perhaps, for those who aren't a fan of Zombie apocalypses, we could do the dreaming one. Because it seems to me that plots with small, tightly knit groups of people surviving Certain Doom do a lot better with a limited number of people...

I would do ANYTHING for a Triffid roleplay.

Basic idea. The vast majority of the people in the world have gone blind. They die in droves. The remaining sighted people fight to remain alive in a decimated world, oh, and they have to deal with giant carnivorous and semi-intelligent plants. This was the only book I've ever read that really scared me.

if you want apocalyptic/zombie ideas then darren shan (i'm 99% sure he's the one who writes them) is just ugh
like he delivered the biggest plot twist in the world in just one book

it's basically genetically modified zombies and people that go around controlling said zombies
tbh it's one of the best series i've read to date

Idk I never thought to have a PLOT plot but like a premise to branch out of. I think making it complicated distracts from the simple hilarity of throwing ourselves into ridiculous situations? ???
Idk but I'm dumb so
