Sanrio update confirmed!!! Villagers, clothes, and furniture is going to be added to the game.

Aaaa, so stocked for everything, it’s all so cute! Probably going to have chai move in.

I got the Mario pipes a little early by changing my timezone that’s past 5am on March 1st. Oh my goodness as a host, this item is downright magical! Just fence off two small areas, one at the airport and the other wherever your visiting NPC/crafting villager is.

No more:
-Lost guests
-Worrying about people snooping or swiping
-Or jumping off at the dock (because I can just guard it now that I don’t have to babysit)

I like running around the island so hosting is all I’m going to use it for.

None of my friends play ACNH so I'm probably gonna have to talk all about my progress here, haha. I started playing on Christmas since I got it as a gift from my family and it's literally been so addicting (I did lose my Nook Miles streak so now I'm back to getting 50 miles). I'm still not quite sure what type of island I would like to do but so far it's a mix of fairycore and a bunch of stuff that looks good together. As for my villagers, I recently (well not rlly recently haha) had gotten Pietro after kicking out Tex! He's such a sweetie. I'm hoping to kick out Ursala and Alli first before any of my other villagers. c:

As for the Mario update, I'm really impressed with the pipes idea! I haven't had the time to play with them but it's gonna be so much easier to get to my tree orchard or my shops area lol. I also bought the mushroom platforms since I think they'd fit pretty well (and I need some plant items for Marcie's yard).

I found audie (ungifted) while villager hunting yesterday if anyone has her as a dreamie. I plan on replacing her with Chai once the update hits (assuming you can choose the last villager who moved in). You have a few days to get a spot open before I give her to someone on a different website (again assuming you can replace the most recent villager). I don’t mind time traveling to get her in boxes quicker if you happen to get a spot open before the 3 days it takes to get a villager to move in vi amiibo.

If more than one person wants her I’ll most likely use a randomizer. That said, I retain the right to choose someone specific if I want. Eg. If both someone who’s never posted and someone who’s been a member a while asks for her, I’m mostly likely going to go with the person who’s been here.

You must also be able to respond quick. I don’t want to keep my game paused to a certain day to keep her from moving, especially since I’m not asking for any kind of fee (eg she’s free as long as she’s your dream). If you fail to set up a trade time or you’re slow to respond, she may be given to someone else.

Oh my goodness, I just found one of my dream villagers! I've been looking for Merengue for months. Now if I could just find Julian and Cookie...both are adorable. <3

I’m super excited for more design slots and the Sanrio items. Oh and being able to design umbrellas, fans, and flags is cute to.

I’m a bit disappointed though. The Mario items we got for their franchise anniversary felt bigger than the stuff we’re getting for NH’s anniversary. I’m still a bit hopeful they’re saving the bigger stuff for animal crossings general anniversary next month. I think it’s AC’s 20th anniversary? So I’m hoping we finally get a returning NPC (please it feels like we’ve been waiting for Brewster forever)

Yeah, I agree. One would think they would've done something a little bigger for the 20th anniversary of the actual game, rather than sorta letting a different franchise overshadow it...then again, I don't understand Nintendo's logic on stuff, sometimes, haha. They didn't do much (talking in general, not just in Animal Crossing, lol) for The Legend of Zelda's 35th anniversary, either, and seeing as how popular it is, I'd have thought they would've done more. I hope they're planning something; if we're going by the very original game (Animal Forest, which was only released in Japan on the N64. Population: Growing is basically the same game, on the Game Cube; it was just more westernized by the devs, I believe...ok, sorry, geek out moment over lol. I've been playing since the GC days :p ), it was released on Apr. 14, 2001. So I hope they've got something up their sleeve for it. Ohmygosh, yes, that would be awesome - I miss Brewster. All of the coffee themed items would be amazing, and the little game where you work as a barista in New Leaf was so cute. :]

i'm at a told loss for words right now. i just bought a plot and used one ticket. same thing happened for deidre and i was kind of regretting taking her since i have her amiibo. starting to really like that i restarted my island because i seem to have found all the luck i was lacking on my old one. hopefully the luck stays until i find sherb; he's the only other villager without an amiibo i need.
