Do you have a herd? What's their name? Can you tell me about them?

So I'm developing my fables as bipedal/humans/anthro in a magical world. So far I have Amal who is a mapmaker and scholar, as much of their world is still undiscovered. And Oevwyn is the keeper of a very mischievous, mystical library that holds much of their world's history, artifacts, and spellbooks. I'm still working on the herd page but so far their lands are called Hessepeia.

@nanorat - some other nicknames could be Win or Willa or even Winna! Such a gorgeous fable!
@leopia - same, I love this species and they're making me want to write again! I love how soft that fable is and how the dark part of the mane matches the eyes - lovely!
@BlueEyedKite - ah I love how detailed your lore is so far! I enjoyed reading it!

wanted to introduce my new fable, kvitka! bezel absolutely blew it away with my custom and kvitka is everything that i could have imagined and more....

now that i have 2 fables, i may try to start working on some lore surrounding them and a possible herd, though i'm not super creative on that end :p
regardless, i'd love to make possible connections with my fables and other fables, if anyone is interested! i also don't mind lore/world-building together

I am slowly making decisions on my fable lore ~ what's on CS can be found here.

Inspired by Bezel and Kite, I have organized my fables into a herd called Cindara. They have produced many gifted healers and fire mages. Not all have powers, and some may be gifted by other elements. Their biggest asset is the wealth of knowledge tended to and shared by the hearth mothers. More details pending n some things I want to change but getting there !

Eventually, I hope to have maybe a second herd that lives amongst many interconnected rivers and streams that they tend to and keep clear buuuut that's a ways off. So many ideas spinning but it's been challenging to make it cohesive haha

Been so busy lately to keep up (and more than a little shy too), but seeing everyones Fables is so wonderful! Congratulations to the other raffle winners as well!

I don't have a herd currently for my Fables, i'm still stuck on the layout for my lore pages (or even just stuck on the lore itself is more accurate haha) but it's been so lovely to see what everyone is developing for theirs! I have so many ideas for the world(s) mine live in that it's been hard for me to put anything down on paper, but I'll probably elaborate on the writing prompts I had for my Fables personalities and go from there when I have the energy.
My thoughts at this time are that my Wonder and Elide live separately in the same world, and i'm not sure they ever meet! It could be possible, but their stations and roles they dedicate themselves to probably wouldn't cross paths.

I absolutely adore your magic system! The way fire is used as a purification tool to heal rather than do harm is so unique and inspiring. I'm really interested to see more of what you do with your fables in the future! The second herd concept is really lovely as well.

Hey yall! I initially wanted to post here when I got my first fable from molotov, but got swept up in the busy holiday season and wrapping up the end of the year at work. BUT I can say now that I am glad I waited as I can introduce these guys together!!

Bishop works as the navigator for a pirate ship hired by nobles to collect valuable treasure in exchange for a share of the profit. In ye old times classically trained navigators were impossible to come across and while Bishop comes from a poor family who could not put him through school, he somehow managed to become the mentee of a knowledgeable scholar who taught him how to read the stars. He takes pride in being the smartest person on his ship and even though he is a wall flower, he feels at peace knowing he is needed by his crew mates.

Enter Jules. Hired by one of the nobles running their ship, he comes from a wealthy family and just completed schooling to be a surgeon. His presence on the ship completely upends Bishop and a jealous obsession sparks. Why does Jules immediately grab all of the attention, why is he so easy to get along with, and why does Bishop wants nothing more than to ruin his life. Dealing with unyielding attention from everyone, Jules just wants a break. Can he find a breath of fresh air with Bishop?

@kite you know i was going to say no to this herd question, but i think it would be fun to have my herd be the crew members on the ship or people they would meet in the towns where they dock. i would have to come up with a name for both the crew and the ship. if anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated! i will eventually be making toyhouse world and pages for my fables where a lot of this lore is likely to be displayed! I am also super open to world building and lore with anyone, my DMS are always open!
@messmer Wonder and Elide are gorgeous and some of my favorite fables ever! i also find a world so big the two of them have a possibility of never meeting so fascinating.
@hellevi what a beautiful design! the flowers on their horns are so whimsical! i'm so glad you were able to get your hands on a custom!

Jules and Bishop are SO cool!! I absolutely adore the dynamic you've created between them, and can't wait to see how it develops further. I love sea-faring settings, and to have a good amount of drama wrapped in is just *chefs kiss* perfect hehe
