also I have this theory

maybe Joki is half animated?? bc Jack and Ace discussed how Joki looked like an animated (mainly bc of his hair) and remember where he woke up?? the nurses and things were animated (I think it was said before??) and they didn't attack him like the other animated.

I think its kinda like the Walking Dead thing where smearing zombie innards on you would make you practically invisible to a horde. kinda like that?? or maybe because Joki's jacket was still wet with (maybe) animated innards??

but that's just a theory

i'm soooo excited for the story to progress so we can get answers to stuff like that... i hope maybe next week we get an update?? idk how bad of an injury it was that halted things, so maybe it could be a while longer. B//
