who are your favorite characters?
chris is my favorite just because of his personality. close seconds are sam and matt. sam is pretty sick in general, and same with matt when he's not being walked all over by emily. tbh josh is still a chill character, despite him going a little overboard and crazy with the prank - although it's a little bit justified because he was probably in an awful mental state after hannah and beth died. jessica i find has become a favorite over the game's course, mainly because she seems like one of those conceited, vain people and you find out that she's really not. mike is cool too, despite him being the total cliche jock kinda guy. emily is definitely my least favorite in terms of her personality around others - she's such a jerk and bossy towards matt and i feel pretty bad for him, especially in places where you don't get a choice whether to stand up for yourself or not, i also feel like she was the bad guy in the whole mike-emily-through-telescope situation and she also started the entire fight with jessica when you first get up to the lodge. she probably still liked mike, reasoning for why she was pretty much always bossy and mean to matt whenever her life wasn't on the line, or she just wanted to cause a fight. it's pretty disappointing because the entire time she's fighting with jessica you realize that it wouldn't have been difficult what-so-ever for her to just say nothing rather than start an argument and get mike and jessica forced to the guest cabin. but i guess pretty much the entire story wouldn't be the story it is without emily being kind of a huge jerk. on her own she's pretty gnarly though, i gotta admit.

also i'm not sure if they were ever named, if they were i never caught it, but that one wolf, man. it was the real mvp, whether it ended up dying for mike or not.

tbh the flamethrower guy was pretty freakin rad too, i just really wish the game makers wouldn't have cut him out of the story so early :\ he had so much potential to be a great, cool character, developed with the rest of the group, but they just killed him off like 2 minutes into meeting him which really disappointed me.

it also really upsets me that you couldn't save hannah or beth at the very start - i feel like the game would've generated so much more hype because you'd probably have to drop hannah to save yourself, and that early on in the game it's a huge burden for the player and the characters to carry and i feel like it would've taken a much better turn in terms of the player's actions and the character development and stuff.

of course, i understand it's supposed to be cliche [at least that's what i've been told and hope], but i feel like they really went for the overly cliche path. i'm sure almost everyone guessed that josh was behind the whole prank to the rest of them, everyone probably knew that the flamethrower guy was a good guy because he offered beth his hand. and even i could make a guess on what the thing was in the woods - aka the wendigo - just from me watching spn lmao. tetra ninja always made comments on wendigos as well before the wendigos were actually confirmed. they could've done something pretty amazing if they hadn't taken the route of josh wanting revenge on his friends... but i guess josh being behind the prank easily ties up loose ends and makes it for a much shorter game and probably more enjoyable, at that rate. and it lessens the need for a sequel, especially for a story that really doesn't need one from the beginning because the ending with all of the characters and what seems to be their conversations with police is a great way to end it.

i have to say though it's a very interesting game, despite the fact that people can easily read the possible upcoming actions like a book.

Ahh, I'm actually loving Until Dawn right now. The violence isn't that bad either. Is it bad to say I've seen worse gore than being sawed in half? Just watch the Final Destination movies (which I hate, BTW, only know about them because of my mom, who watches them for the survival aspect) and you'll see what I mean, LOL. Though most of those deaths are impossible.

who are your favorite characters?

Mike, Chris and Ashley. They all seem like pretty neat characters (doesn't help I find both Chris and Mike equally attractive) and I am rooting for all of them to make it in the end.

I hate Emily, though. Whiny little creature, she is.

I'm working my way through the episodes. If I get there before other people, I'll do it though it might not be that good. I have anxiety so I have to watch horror games in very small doses and at very low volumes. Also usually hiding the screen. It's kinda pathetic.

Im kind of sad that Mark is restarting the entire game, when you finish you can go back and fix your mistakes. He was kind of close to the end too. If he had waited about 2 to 3 more episodes the game would be over and he could have been finished. Oh well.

yeah and i felt bad for him when he chose poorly ( but i guess him starting again is a good thing) maybe he can explore more and find more clues and totems ^^ he should just carry on though till the end and then amend his mistakes though ^^

But I read comments saying that you can play chapter by chapter once you complete it, but in order to actually change the ending you have to play the game all over again.

I also think the main reason Mark chose to re-do it is because he ruined the little "Chris and Ashley" ship he had going and knee-jerked to doing it all over again. But hey, on the plus side, at least he won't get Matt killed again (hopefully).

And yes, Mark looks even sexier with his pink hair. Though, personally, blonde actually looked better on him XD.
