Hello everybody!
I'm opening a few commissions, so if you're interested, the result usually looks like this or this. Here's a recent finished commission as well.

I will do all species and accessories, so if you're interested in commissions, note me on DA, or pm me here on cs. Depending on different components, I usually have some set prices, but I'm willing to negotiate since I am in need of points.

How often do you get art of your characters?

I draw it myself because I don't have money to buy it.
Speaking of which, I have an art contest going, link in my signature. If anyone would rather not enter, since nobody has, I can give bulk rares for HQ art. Please PM ME.

Yes, definitely. I think most of the reason that I'm not connected to a lot of my characters, especially the closed species, is because the communities are half-dead.

Do you think that it is important that a character is HQ?

No, as long as you love the character. However, I cannot connect to LQ designs, because I am drawn to aesthetically pleasing things, so I like nice colors and patterns.

Do you prefer to create your own characters?

Sometimes. I usually fall out of love with them pretty quickly, and I'm not much for buying characters anymore, so I just stick with what I have.

i finished a map part of my one character, klaus, that i'm really proud of, and it'd be appreciated if you watched it! [don't worry, i made sure it was the right link this time!!]

How often do you get art of your characters?
i don't really order art of my characters a lot- i do art trades and if there's a 'free art' thing i'll prolly do it, but there's not many characters i have a lot of art of. on the other hand, i do draw my main characters pretty often, maybe once every two days. it just.. doesn't always turn out well, haha

i don't really think interacting with your character is important for starting to like them - it's just that you need to think about them, and develop them in your head first. after that, you'll start to like your character a lot depending on how much you've developed them, and then you start to interact with them.
Do you think that it is important that a character is HQ?
not at all- if you're looking for a design, you would probably want a hq reference, but the original character itself doesn't have to be. it's the design that matters, not the quality, i guess. like i've seen characters with hq refs and traditional non-colored refs that have basically the same design, and i've liked/disliked them all the same.
also, what really matters in a char is the backstory/personality/non-asthetic, which doesn't really have any effect on the asthetic portion- a character needs something behing the asthetic, and that's what really draws me to a char.
Do you prefer to create your own characters?
yeah. i feel like it gives you more freedom, and you usually start to develop an idea of what you want personality-wise before asthetic-wise.

Not that often, to be honest.
Even though I don't have a lot in comparison to other people, it's still a lot for me, and I want to balance out art evenly, and I'm a poor child so I don't have much to spend on art, anyways ahh.

I think so, yes.
In fact, that's how I connect with most of my characters/re-strengthen the bond when I start to lose connection.

I don't really know what you mean by HQ, but I mean.
You can easily develop a character you adopted from someone and make a more refined reference, etc. to make them what others consider "HQ"...?
I think it's important to connect with and be able to use the character.

.... I have mixed feelings.
While I am bad at designing and making characters, I feel like sometimes it is necessary for me to do so to connect with them, or to create them myself because I have a specific design in mind.
Or if, let's say, they're my fursona/persona.

Not that often, I end up spending most of my usd/points on characters instead, which is why I'm trying to stop buying so many characters and lower my amount of them.

Yeah! I don't use my characters for roleplaying, but I know that drawing characters makes me feel more connected to them.

No, all that matters is that you like the character. I tend to like characters with a more complicated and colorful designs though because they're more fun for me to draw.

Do you prefer to create your own characters?
No, I can never really design my own because I can't settle with a design I like for them. The only characters I design is my fursona and some of my fandom ocs.

Honestly most art is from art trades because I'd rather spend the money getting more chars, Im a bit addicted???

I cannot roleplay with my characters for a simple reason, (same as why I don't role-play), it's because I ,number one, get bored and two , I basically just act like myself????

I mean if it was a 5 point adopt mad eby a 9 year old then I would not buy it, I like interesting designs which are usually not cheap???

i don't really order a lot of art these days, but i do draw my characters a lot uvu usually at least once a week [tho it tends to be the same characters oops]

it probably would i guess!!
one reason why i draw certain characters of mine a lot is so that i don't "lose interest" in the group of characters [i often shower one group of characters with loads of love and art oops. rn this has been my fanstuck group for like over a year now ??]
lots of art and roleplaying gives me things to discuss with friends, too !!

no!! characters being "HQ" aren't really important to me
especially considering some of my most loved characters aren't exactly high quality [aka the designs for lynt and kidd by me hahaha;; not that i mind tho. i still love them uvu]

looking back on which groups of characters i tend to get obsessed with, a lot of the time it does seem to be characters which I've created myself [or most of the group was] uvu
