Sodora gazed down at Citrin, her blue eyes sparkled with light crystal tears, True, she never had gotten to know anyone in Vinara all that well. She had barely even gotten to live... well live a mortal life, that is. Slowly she turned her head and looked back towards the young immortal who held her so close, In her she saw the future, a long life full of the beauties and bounties of the world. She had spoken of not only one, not only two, but nine. Nine worlds, no nine realms. each filled with what? She could only imagine. The possiblities filled her with glee, and yet ...
Slowly she once again turned her head towards the other Faerre, Oh what was her name? Citrin.. yes, maybe. The other Faerre had almost disappeared into the crowd, and with each of the steely grey Faerre's steps Sodora felt like a piece of her left as well, disappearing into the crowd. The sea like Faerre let out an unintentional squeak of remorse, causing a light chuckle from her new companion.
Ah, young one, you are having second thoughts?
This sent the Small Faerre's furn on end with shock, and quickly she spluttered a reply

A light blush blotched her cool cheeks, and in a lighter tone she continued
"No Paravati, Its just, I feel like my whole life is slipping away, yet I have a whole eternity before me."
The demigod chuckled,
"I told you not to make your decision lightly, and i do not believe you have. It is true your life, in a way, is ending, your old life, that of a mortal is coming to an end, and the world as you know it is sure to change once you gain your immortality. If you believe it is best I can allow you to stay here, for a time, your centuries ban of the Mortal world will not begin until you have become immortal.
The young Faerre's blue eyes sparkled once more with unshed tears of glee.
"One year, I ask for only one year. To settle my needs and other goings on in the mortal world, then I am yours for all eternity."
The demigod smiled lightly and kissed the Faerre once more on the head. A single mortal year passed as easily for her as a week to them, It was not a long wait, yet she knew for Sodora It would last an eternity. Slowly she lowered the faerre who jumped gracefully from the Demigod's arms rubbing her head and back against her lady's legs like a cat she bounded off after The other Female Faerre.
A Great chasm opens,
Beneath my unbound feet,
