I just learned something magical, lol. Apparently you can store trees, bushes, and flowers by doing the call resident and having the 2nd player shovel them! They get sent to the recycle bin in resident service.

Does anyone else do this?

When I play Animal Crossing I start at the first day of the month {since it's the 18th of February now} and play each day to do my "chores" and collect items and the lot?

My DA before the rampage, if anyone is curious what I destroyed lol: 2192-3764-3563

Yes, I do this but I sometimes skip days if I get bored... when I finally go back to new leaf I’m going to have a few years to catch up on. X_X

First part of your question, when you unlock the campsite, you can start scanning amiibo cards at the ABD in Resident Services in order to invite the villager on the card to your campsite. They will ask you to craft them a DIY Item, and if you don't have the recipe, they will give it to you. After you give them the crafted item, you can ask them to move to your island, but they will tell you they'll have to think about it. Invite them again the next day and repeat the process until you've crafted 3 DIY items for them, and they will move to your island. As for investing in them, I personally prefer to get cards online because the packs are completely random. It may be a bit more expensive to buy cards online, but if you do it that way, you know what card you're getting

As for the second part, there's not much you can do, hitting them with nets doesn't do anything to get them to leave. Just wait until the villager you want gone has a thought bubble above them. This is not always a guarantee that they will tell you they want to move, they may also want to give you a gift or buy something from you. If they tell you they want to move, just approve of the move and they'll be packing the next day, and the day after that, they will be gone

Currently the only cards I’d recommend buying is the ones being rereleased at the end of March, the Sanrio cards. It comes with all 6 cards so there’s no randomness. I think they’re going to rerelease those special villagers themed after hello kitty though I don’t think anything is confirmed yet. Normal villagers you can eventually get by finding on mystery islands or trading someone for.

There’s a few things that’s helpful to know about trying to get a villager to leave:

1. When you see a villager with a thought bubble, ignore them if it’s a villager you don’t want moving. Sometimes the next day the thought bubble will move to another villager.

2. If the villager you don’t like was the last one to move in you need to get a new villager. The last one to move in will not ask to move. They also won’t ask to move if it’s close to their birthday.

3. If you have someone visit your campsite, talk to them until they ask to move in. If they ask to kick a villager you don’t want moving, immediately close your game as soon as they mention the villagers name (seriously don’t even hit A to end the conversation.) If you exited before the game saved they might ask to kick a different villager.
