I am breeding a Sandshrew from Italy with and Absol from America, trying to get a shiny. Does anyone know a way to get a shiny easier than the Medusa Method?

As for your shiny problom, Falcon, you can get shinies easier if you can get high chains with the Pokeradar, or if you can fish the same pokemon a bunch of times in a row without moving from a spot.

Another question: do you guys use your shinies as battlers, just play with them lots, or keep them in a box?

I just play with mine in Amie. The exception being Gerard the Druddigon, who I used in game. I don't really battle much, tbh, I'm not into competitive battling. To much effort >.<

Finally got myself a Japanese Ditto. Since I obviously have access to English ones for my Japanese Pokemon, I can shiny hunt for any Pokemon I own. This Ditto has now risen to favourite Pokemon status; it's going to be such an invaluable tool for breeding.
