My parents go to a Presbyterian church, and I am, of course, forced to go; but the pastor known I'm Wiccan and he wants to learn more about the religion.

Same with me. I told my mom Iam not comfortable at church yet she still forces me to go there. I was raised in a Pentecostal branch. It just doesn't feel lke thats what I was born to follow. But...eh.

I used to be an assistant sunday school teacher in a United church, not only did I feel like I was telling lies to these children, there was a sudden change in leadership and I realy didn't feel comfertble around the woman who took over. I did like the community and United are generaly more open minded but I couldn't exactly be open with my beliefs there. So I just stoped going at the end of the 'school year' after all I had made a commitment. The primary faith localy is Christian, but we also have a large Shambala community.

My parents are a lapsed protestant who is now an atheast who refuses to believe in the possibility of anything he can't explain.
An a lapsed Catholic who is open minded, She is actualy very interested in what I do.
My brother is also an atheast, I think, he is rather quiet about his personal life. ie didn't know he had a boyfriend untill I was given a last min. invite to their wedding._.

So with family I guess overall I've been lucky.

Today I feel so blessed by the Goddess,

At a Spiritual Meeting with a Native and a Christian (which of course I have nothing against)
I experienced something I never had before.. Never. o.o

We had just finished smudging the room with sage and the eldest of us had prayed,
we'd also completely smudged ourselves head to toe, back and front. I was asked
by the Smudger to light the Red Candle (the only one in the room) so I did, I lit the
match and brought it to the candle and prayed to the Goddess for Fire.

What happened? Well it exploded! I was hit by a warm sensation, it scared me sort of...
I dropped the match on the highly flammable Table Drape made of Cloth and it didn't
burn anything! It was so controlled... It was so weird, this has never happened to me..

What do you guys think this might mean? o.O

Well..certintaly I can't gurantee my sugestions accurate. But maybe it was a greeting from the Fire element. I've hada similar expreience. The warmth swirled around my body. It felt..comforting and welcoming. Soooo e.e.

This is very exciting!!!!

But remember to exercise caution when working with fire, it is the harest of the elements to control and manipulate.

It's terrible..I'm so ashamed to share a planet with sick, sick-minded people. A GRADE SCHOOL? Really. Really. Little innocent children. I can't even. My prayers and thoughts are with the families.

Long time no talk people, blessings of the season to you all!
I admit I'm horrified by the Connecticut shooting, and I've sent out as many positive thoughts as possible.

On another note, how would one find one's element? As I'm interested to find out, as my guardian dragon is a Cloud Dragon (so air obviously), but my spirit guide I see as more a water or earth wizard. As for my spirit animal, I have no idea what a mouse would be...
