My friend's new year event didn't pop up for her (I'm assuming because she didn't have her resident services building yet?) so last minute I invited her to mine! In one small last minute moment, what was a very lonely new year moment became quite entertaining and less lonely, all because of a silly little animal game. Happy new year everyone!

90,000 bells (just enough so I don’t ruin the beginning of the game for you)
Fruit of each type
Flower seeds
And let you catalog some furniture (cataloging means you just pick up and drop so you can buy it yourself)
Maybe a few NPC posters for keeps

^ Depends.

If you’re a collector or if you just want a certain color of furniture you can’t get on your island it def worth it. Your island only sells some colors of furniture so it’s either extremely rare to get the other colors or even impossible in some cases. For example my island with the green airport sells black streetlamps while my blue airport island sells the green streetlamps. If I want white streetlamps I’d have to trade for them because I don’t think redd would ever sell them in his shop since they’re nook mile ticket items.

I could be wrong but I don’t think it’s possible to get all the fruit either without trading?

AC has a pretty weak multiplayer experience atm. You can’t place or move furniture so that only leaves catching fish and bugs with friends. New leaf use to have a island you could go play mini games so I’m hoping new horizon adds something similar at some point.

I could be wrong but I don’t think it’s possible to get all the fruit either without trading?

you can get 3 of them plus coconuts without online, if your lucky

-your native fruit
-the fruit your mother sends you at the start
-your sister fruit (the one on NMT islands)

it means you can get only 2 if youe mom gives you the same as your sister fruit

^ yeah I’m aware. I was lucky enough to get a different fruit from the letter than the native and 2nd island fruit. I just know that in new leaf your neighbors would sometimes gift you foreign fruit but wasn’t sure if that was a thing or not in new horizons.
