^ True that. The Pokestop feature was only introduced to small amount of players to test it and the grass is pretty much the same.

Also, for those of you that were curious about how many people were in each team, here are the statistics.
(These may be slightly off because they were taken near the start, but I'd assume it'll still be about right)

Mystic: 43%
Valor: 32%
Instinct: 25%

Of course, this will vary by area, but that's the overall distribution. I always thought Valor was the largest.
They tend to own most of the gyms in my area... Instinct never has any, but I try to take some when I can.

Read all the posts please so we don't have to keep repeating everything..

Time to clear some things up;
For those of you who don't like the new feature, it's probably because you don't know how to use it. They tried to make it more realistic where the pokemon you see in the grass (aka wild pokemon) are around your area in real time. What does that mean? If you move to the left, and the pokemon disappears on your sightings, then go the other way. If it disappears to your right, then either continue walking forwards or go back the way you came, and it will show up.
IT'S EXACTLY LIKE THE 3 FOOTPRINTS FEATURE. With the 3 footprints feature, you still didn't know which direction the pokemon was in! You had to do the exact same thing as you have to do now, except there's no footprints. But it's still the same distance, and works with your phone in real-time.
So unless you didn't like the 3 footprints feature, there's no reason to dislike this feature. It's pretty much exactly the same, just without the visible footprints.

And for the pokestop thing; that hasn't been introduced to the game yet, so that's why you're not experiencing it in your game. Only a select amount of players were chosen to use the feature as a way to kind of "test it out." But it has not yet been made public to all players.

I'm mad and happy at the same time. I missed a 505 torous ,but cought a bulbasour, about 50% of the Pokemon I tried to catch ran away and I had already wasted 5 -10 poke balls, great balls, and razz berries on them and after all my wishing my 3rd eevee I evolve becomes another flareon, instead of a jolteon, which is my favorite, but on another hand it was just a bit stronger than my vaporeon so it's the strongest, and 20+ great balls and a hand full of razz berries later, I finally got that 444 venamoth. I went from 54 great balls to 19 great balls in less that a hour.
Edit: and both my eggs ended up being a magikarp and a diglett. Both that I have about a million of

If you specifically want a jolteon you name the eevee (before you evolve it of course) Sparky, then evolve it and it should be Jolteon. It only works once for each eeveelution

I'm pretty sure it works more than once? Or at least increases the odds. It has for me anyways.

Also, a CP 452 Pikachu ran from me today and I nearly cried.

I hatched a cp 810 or something Ponyta the other day. I can't wait to evolve it :3
I just need those candies now...
