Edit: holey cheese, I didn’t think it was possible but the festive diy feels even rarer than the autumn DIY. I TT’d on my southern island to collect the diy early because it annoyed me how I couldn’t decorate for fall until the last few days before winter... I’ve been at this since the 1st and only have maaaybe around half the festive DIY. On top of that I have to collect extras for my boyfriend ug. >_<

I might hold a giveaway for any extras I pick up since I know most people are busy this time of year. So far I only have one extra tho so we’ll see how that goes lol.

Actually, I think it might be possible to make two islands on one Switch, having the digital download and a hard copy of the game. Not sure though, plus with this method you can't visit the second island since only one game can be open at a time

hm. I'm guessing it has something to do with the way the Switch saves data. I may be way off base, though. Just a guess lol.

Also, when I first got my Switch with the warranty, they said it would cover anything, including if I get mad and throw it out the window. The only thing the warranty doesn't cover is the Switch catching on fire. NGL, that had me a bit worried. When I heard about hoverboards that were recalled because of the fact that they were reported to burst into flames while charging, I thought something like that might be a possible hazard.

I haven’t heard of a switch catching fire, I don’t think you have anything to worry about lol.

That’s weird they went over the warranty tho. Did you “buy” a warranty from GameStop or something? Assuming you’re in the US you don’t really need to buy warrantees from the box store, Nintendo gives you a year of warranty automatically for a year when you purchase a new console (doesn’t cover switch if it’s bought used ofc).

Not sure if the box stores give you extra coverage but I always found it to be scamish. All of my Nintendo handhelds and consoles work fine even after having them 10+ years. Lol I actually snapped my pink DS screen at the hinge on one side and it still works somehow.

Yes, I paid the extra 3 bucks for a warranty at GameStop
