Nearco is thoroughbred...o-o I guess Koda's closer ancestors were more like appendixes(Mixture of thoroughbred and quarter horse).

Actually the thoroughbred in him is only on his dads side and it's sixth gens back. He's still registered with the APHA anyway so he's a solid paint. C:

Well, the world of Thoroughbreds, quarter horses, and various other western breeds are intertwined. If I am correct, casual cross breeders wanted horses that were sturdy, beautiful, and downright epic. That's probably why you find so many thoroughbreds related to Quarter horses and such.

EDIT** I'm thinking about making a siggy block. You know the single picture in your signature with a bunch of different links in it? I wanted to make one using a photo of Gebb that I took at the show yesterday, but I have no clue how to do it. Halp!!
