Absolutely expected Australia to do much better when it came to the points. The song was unique like nothing else, her vocals were stunning and on point (which can't be said for like.. 80% of the performers this year......) and the performance?? they were literally flying and looking amazing doing it like what more can you hope for.

So sad for Norway as well. I saw the post that said they had technical difficulties during their jury performance and they didn't let them redo it, which explains why the jury gave them barely anything and the public vote LOVED them.

Iceland.... love.... amazing.... aesthetic..... everything they stand for.... good yes more pls

Russia, dont get me wrong I love him. I just havent found his entry to be the best of the year he was competing in. I think 3rd place was very fitting for the performance and vocals and everything.
Italy... I really just don't like the song. I didnt like his outfit and idk, don't get the hype. So many people say italy was robbed once again, but honestly this has been my least favorite of their entries in the last couple years, so them getting second place was incredibly generous imho. Francesco Gabbani, however, was absolutely robbed.
Switzerland.... eeeh I much preferred the music video. I just feel a big disconnect from the song and the performance on stage. It wasn't bad, just not.... great. impressed they got such a good score though.
Sweden... yea I don't get that one at all. His vocals in the final performance were pretty off, and I also never understood the hype about this one. Just didn't seem like anything special to me.

aand of course, the netherlands.
yall are gonna hate me for this but I really didn't like his performance. I like the song, in the video version, but on stage.. he just didn't do anything? The piano wasn't even on fire but for real tho, it just felt like a lazy entry to me. Even ballads tend to have more things happening on stage, and that's saying something. It really just felt empty to me, and I didn't feel that the song was that amazing at all. So meh. I do like that he's bisexual, though. Eurovision needs more gay always.

All that being said, my personal top 3 were Australia, Iceland and Norway, not necessarily in that order but ye.

Did anyone find Slovenia kind of hypnotizing?
It had a sorta LSD slow-move party feel to it but it was also really cute that they totally touched and hung onto each other for the majority of the song. To me it seemed like she was really insecure and wouldn't have sung the song without him by her side.
It was sad that he didn't sing though as it was a really boring tune, although her voice was rather interesting.
They could have made much more out of that.

I actually really liked Slovenia, I found the singer adorable! I'm usually not a big fan of the couple acts, so I was honestly kind of glad when he didn't sing. :')

Hi everyone! I love Eurovision & watch it live every year!

Iceland was my favorite this year <3
But I also really liked Australia, Denmark, Norway, Russia, and Switzerland (in nor particular order)

@Thalassic I actually share your opinions pretty much exactly! I also love Russia but I liked his previous song better tbh (plus the visuals weren't as good as the music video), Switzerland's live performance was nowhere close to the music video, I didn't get the Sweden hype or Italy hype either (but Italy kinda grows on me slowly), and I expected Australia to score higher!

Norway was the most popular vote, the people liked it the most and I'm sad that the judges didn't appreciate them as much. Denmark is a guilty pleasure for me, such a soft & fun song (I wanna hear this song as I'm walking down the street enjoying life you know??) and Iceland BLEW ME AWAY. I loved them so much but I knew they wouldn't be as appreciated by everyone as they were by me <3
I'm gonna keep up with Hatari for more music for sure <3

My winner was Norway this year. I’m so sad they didn’t do well with the juries, but they won the public votes, and that is so wonderful. I’m going to continue following KEiiNO because I really hope to see more from them. Have you guys heard their cover of Shallow? It’s so stunning.

I have to agree with some of the people above. I’ve supported Sweden in the past but wasn’t a huge fan of their song this year. Nothing against them, it’s a nice and catchy song, but there wasn’t a lot to it to make me enjoy it as much as the others T_T Similar with Italy, but it felt a little more unique than Sweden’s, so it’s growing on me some.

I like Seregey Lazerev’s first song better than Scream, but I still liked Scream just fine XD I’m not sure why.

Sadly I was never able to really enjoy Arcade, just because I have a difficult time connecting with slower songs. I don’t hate it by any means though, and I’m still glad Duncan did well <33

My guilty pleasure this year was Estonia. I know it wasn’t really well loved, but the song did something for me. It just makes me happy and I listen to it quite often ^^

Before I finish writing this massive post (sorry! LOL) I want to take a moment for Poland and Hungary and Romania, 3 of my favourites who didn’t qualify for the final. Their performances were stunning and I’m still so impressed by them.

I would love to discuss with you if you agree, or if you don’t! I don’t mind <33 I love hearing what others think about this contest.
