Before I drag myself to get super busy with the nursery today I got a quick question about the sketch above.

I doodles this sketch this morning and I am wondering if anyone would be interested in some more avatar gift lines? If not, what kind of giftlines would you like to see? What kind of poses and such? I tend to make giftlines and stuff when trying to relax.

it would be cool to see more avatar giftlines and maybe an dvf stretching pose would be cute

Oh yes I do love that idea!
I don't draw stretching much (unless the DVF is laying down and stretching out their back legs) - so I very much accept that challenge. Haven't got a clue when it'll be done or how well it'll turn out so we'll see. 8D

I'm on a roll with the sketching in between working on nursery tickets.
In case anyone if curious, once I am done with all the current nursery tickets I plan to have slots closed for a little bit but have slots open for growths. I am also planning a nursery artist and mod comp soon. Current Artists are allowed to become a nursery artist along with being a full time artist if they wish to.

Ahh snow I love those lines and I'd love to see them finished if you ever get a break from event planning! You draw DVFs so well, granted they're your species, but I like your style and how well you draw their anatomy in various poses!

Also I'm waiting with baited breath for this CYOA event. Mmmm I'm so curious and I can't wait for it to start once the designs are up o3o

I'm happy you like the gift lines, Gold! So far I only have one mostly done. I still need to finish the long tail and at least the lock Alpha layer before opening it up for color ins.

We are working on designs for the event, and right now we have 7 designs made and a lot more coming up. We're starting out with 15 designs during the event, but we'll be making more if needed as the event goes on. Just like last year it'll be lasting the whole summer and starting on June 1st. :3

And if people don't want to adopt a event DVF - We are also letting people join the CYOA event with DVFs they already own as well!

Alright guys I have a important question for everyone that might be placed into a poll later on.
I've been playing around with the idea with raising the owning limit again, but this time give everyone a MASSIVE raise.

But in return for such a huge raise, extra slots will no longer be for sale and will only be seen about as rarely as a custom DVF token (available around once or twice a year). This would also be the final owning limit raise for the species, I wouldn't be making anymore.

Everyone would have plenty of slots. Anyone can of course have less then the max, but have some wiggle room in case they get attached to another DVF.

In other news, I'm working on setting up a character site that will include my DVFs, so hopefully that will be more organized and developed in the near future!

Quick question about the slot expansion; Would previously purchased slots be applicable to the slot expansion? For example, if someone purchased two slots and the limits were expanded, would they then have forty two slots?

I would like it! I think it would take a lot of stress off finding homes for nursery batches, and I think that good owners are the ones who would be using the slot expansions the most, so I doubt that it would generate shallow and undeveloped DVFs unlike most slot expansions, since I've seen a lot of good owners in this community. ^u^

that would be great! i have 5 normal and 1 nursery as of now, so i will have a lot of room to expand my foxes!

If everyone likes it and it gets set in place, then any extra slots bought or won in contest will stay. BUT I am also thinking of making some changes to those into making them separate Extra Slot and Extra Nursery slots just so I can keep track of who has what. Extra slots right now go to either one or the other of the owners choice, not both.

That change would only be us asking everyone who has a extra slot what goes where and then we just change the name in the bank.

That would be cool, and would bring more people to adopt because they won't be afraid of not running out of room. At the same time though, people might try to hoard them, which wouldn't be fair.
I love the idea, so I'm all for it <3

I think it sounds like a great idea! I've seen far too many foxes (especially nursery babes) receive so few forms that contests are just extended and extended until a winner is declared by default. I think this could help prevent that by opening new opportunities for people with a few foxes already to try out.

If anything I think it would reduce hoarding by creating competition and forcing people to put forth effort to win. While I could see where such a large number may seem like hoarding, if they're developed and well-loved I don't see it as such, personally.
