Ahh if Gerard finally comes to my state, he'd probably cancel too because that's exactly how my luck works. That, or something importantly annoying would have already booked me for the day, like a dentist appointment or something. Because that's exactly what happened when Frank came here and I was literally begging my mom to reschedule it so I could go! Of course she said no. And like when Mikey came here another time, there was a schedule issue then too But I really hope to meet my hero Gerard at some point eventually!

I would go to the NC Comicon but it's an overnight trip for me and I have no one to dogsit my two pet dogs. I could bring my SD with me but I couldn't afford to stay in a motel with my other two, and pay for gas, food, etc. Plus I don't want to go to that trouble and invest that much of my money just to have him (potentially) cancel, I am way to broke for that.

A few times my boyfriend and I have driven upstate for cons (including one of the ones we were going to see Gerard at) and we've brought his pug with us and left the con every hour to take care of it. We also slept in the car. I don't really recommend any of this but if the convention is important enough, you've got to do what you've got to do.



Oh man Frank always does have shows on the worst days. It's a curse. On his last tour, he played at a venue that my band had played the night before but I couldn't go because I had another show that I absolutely could not cancel. To have him at a venue I frequent-five minutes from my house is pretty upsetting. I think I'll be able to see him on his next tour though because he has three shows in my general area but still- I would ha e rather drove for five minutes to see him rather than forty.

Oh yeah, I've been there/done that. When my boyfriend and I went to see Nine Inch Nails at the MTN Oasis festival a couple years ago, which was also an overnight trip, we kept going back the motel to take care of my dogs, and we've made other trips we've had to literally be up like 25 hours for because we couldn't take the dogs so we would drive there, go to the show, and drive back right after. The main problem rn is I have two "aggressive" breeds (a pit bull and a doberman mix) and lots of motels won't even allow them and if they do, almost ALL require a substantial fee to keep them there and I just don't have the money to pay for that and it's way too far to drive in one day, especially since I'd be making the trip by myself and would have no one to tag team the drive with.

And Gerard is literally the only reason I'd bother to go so if he canceled I would probably be beside myself.

hahah my friend Aaron and I met Marilyn Manson and all Aaron said was "you're really tall" so don't feel bad for what you said to Gerard, everybody gets super nervous when meeting someone they idolize.

I am so sorry to people who live in places where bands don't go. I used to live in Hawaii so I know the feel. No celebrities are seen there and if they are there, it's because they are on vacation and it would just be rude to bother them about anything.



So I was able to get tickets to see Frank in November! I really hope it'll work out for me to go because it's standing room only and I'm handicapped so I don't know if I'll be having a good enough day to be able to make it or if there are handicapped spots like some of the venues he's played in the past. I'm looking forward to meeting him a lot and I'm already trying to think of what to draw and write to him. I'm thinking I'm going to draw him some Sweet Pea merch ideas since we always tweet back and forth about what Sweet Pea merch would be cool so like, if I give him some designs maybe he can make that happen. Also, I'm of course going to write to him about how Pencey Prep needs to get back together. Forget MCR, that chapter is done, but Pencey Prep. My loves. Idk. Is this a good idea?
