I called one of my friends Dave once because he wore sunglasses to school for one day. Now all my friends call him that, as well as one of the teachers, though mostly (not for the teacher) because it annoys him. The funny thing is, I was trying to get his attention recently, so I said his (real) name several times, and he didn't respond. Then, I tried using 'Dave' to get his attention, and it actually worked. (And he is totally Dave. Mostly because he likes DJ stuff.)

Yeah I agree, I don't think it would happen. Like all the other ships that won't be canon you sit and write fanfictions about them.
