I agree that demand can get a little over-the-top, but I don't think its wrong to accept massive overpay either X3 My views are normally very passive, but my first 2 years on CS I didn't use the forums and only traded, and all of my trading was completely demand-wise. I take advantage of events and rarer pets because I know I can get overpay for them, and I take it. And at the same time if someone offered me a non-tag for an august PPS I'd take a step back and say 'wait a second, I can't accept this' Yes, at a certain point it becomes too much. So while yes most of my trading is completely demand-wise trying to get as much out of my pets as they can, I'm also just now judging my own giveaway where I'm handing out 5 BAs that I worked my butt of for and paid sorberts for. I expect to get demand-value from my pets and I expect to pay demand-value. I know my views are...unique, but they have pulled me out of situations where most people would fall on thier face and give up. I know what it feels like to pay obnoxious overpay, I know what it feels like to get obnoxious overpay, I know how horrible it is to have a pet with no demand and I've trading for pets with no demand, I've been on both sides of the fence, not to mention on top of it. Until you know what that feels like you can't really understand demand.
Demand isn't a 'thing' its more like an 'it'. It has its moods, it throws fits, it gets hyper and it'll throw you out a window if you make it angry, but once you can understand it, you can tame it. It took me years to understand how demand truly works, but now it works for me, and I'm able to do so much because of it.
Yeah obnoxious demand is stupid, but at the same time its part of CS and it aint going anywhere, I say, either learn how it works, because if you can't learn to live with it your gonna be miserable here. Demand might look like this big scary monster crushing all your dreams. And if thats what you believe that all your going to see. Sometimes you gotta take a step back and look at it from an unbiased point of view.
Well, at least this is shorter than my last post XP
