It all started with the formation of a separate pack in the woods, living like you might imagine a pack of werewolves in a fairytale. They built themselves cabins, and didn't have to worry about being seen shifting, and some spent so much time as wolves they forgot what it was like to be human. There was a pack not so far away that lived in the city, only sharing the woods when they were forced to shift under the moon. But the forest grows ever smaller as people cut down the trees and use the land for other things, and many fights broke out, becoming more and more frequent as they ran into each other more and more often. And the werewolves in the woods became more and more interested in the fact there were other werewolves in town. They wanted that land, they wanted to rule that area, simply for the fact they didn't want another pack so close. So, the leaders came together, the woods leader proposing a deal. However, that didn't go so well, and now they're constantly at odds, some even being killed in the battles.
The pack in the woods knew they wouldn't be able to win by brute force, but the family and pack ties that kept them together would surely win out when paired with secrecy. So, they sent a spy, just one, to see how things would go over. Obviously it took a while, but now they've got someone in a good position, and since they cannot be even sure this person is still loyal to them, they've risked sending two (or three, possibly four) more. These people will report more regularly. They will report when someone is ill, when they plan to attack, anything even remotely important. But, they've got to get people to trust them first, and things like that can mean other things happen along the way. What if someone starts thinking this way of life is better, that they're treated better here? Or they even... fall in love? What will happen to their ties of loyalty? Getting found out means death- going back and saying you hadn't been loyal means death too.
And then there's the issue of when they're ordered to start killing people. Poisoning drink, food, or just making them dissappear.

The others in the rp will not know who the spies are. If they wish to poison someone, that means they will message me, and I will notify that person. [probably after they've drank/ate whatever so they can't always avoid it, but sometimes I would notify before hand]. There'd be many chances to get your morals all mixed up, fall in love, etc.
These other people would have came in various ways, about a year ago, and are just starting to be trusted, and there's one whos in a high position of power that is from the other pack. Never know where their loyalty is.

And as for werewolf type- able to half shift (gruesome creature, not pretty) or fully shift when angry or whatever when its not a full moon. Full moons require them to shift... And shifting hurts. Bad, so they wouldn't be just doing it for the fun of it. But even as humans, body language and stuff would play an important role, and they live with a pack veiw of ruling.

    This is good. I like it. I would definitely join this. But maybe the shifting shouldn't be as painful. I don't know, I think of werewolves like in twilight. Full on wolf, whenever they want, not painful really, etc. I think that'd be more fun, when they can shift at will and actually want to. It doesn't really matter to me, this is just my opinion.

Hm, just going to ramble off an idea here;

What if the higher ranking wolves would be able to half shift? They'd have more power and be stronger, so that could work for the people who are interested in some gruesome creatures. It would also be interesting for battles and fights between alphas and such. Then the lower ranking pack members could just have full shifts. The shifts between human and wolf could happen at will without much pain, but anytime the higher ranked wolves (or even other wolves that are daring enough to try) want to half shift, then it's painful, because they are forcing their body to stay between human and wolf? I could see how that could be painful, although any way you think about it, the shifts could be painful XD

I dunno, just some ideas ^^;

Omg. Yes. This is awesome.

I think the painful shifts is a good idea. I like inflicting pain on my characters [shh i know i'm terrible] xD

I don't really understand what the whole poisoning thing is about. Explain? c:

I really don't see how the shift can't be painful. I mean, your bones are shifting and just... ew. ><
I really don't want it to be like the twilight werewolves which is why I said shifting should hurt, and otherwise it just seems to me like they'd be shifting whenever they felt like it, etc.

Starkit, that would be a good idea, but just because they're higher ranking doesn't necessarily mean they're stronger- they just have been able to have the ambition and strength to defeat someone in a fight. But I'll take that into consideration :3

Journey- its the woods wolves trying to get rid of the city ones. The spies could be ordered to (or do on their own) try to poison someones drink to kill them or make them sick

    It would be like assassination. The spies would be given an order to take someone out, like maybe they find out about the spies or something. The spies could also be considered assassins. Does that help? c:

^^ Yeah, thanks. My brain was being a derp again. cx

You say four spies tops. Would those be the only spots available? Would we be able to roleplay a city werewolf? Or one of the other woods werewolves? Oh wait duh. Of course we'd play city wolves too. Otherwise we couldn't do the forbidden romance part, lol. Again, brain is a derp.

    True. I don't know if you've guys read a werewolf book to where the wolf is separate from the person. Like, they have to fight their wolves to keep from letting them take over. I know I'm being confusing right now, but I'm trying to explain the best I can. It's like the wolves, when they shift, take over, or sorta do. The person is still able to think and do stuff, while also letting their wolf take on instinct. Does any of this make sense?
    In a book I read, it was different for each person how hard their wolves fought for dominance, to be let loose. The way they decided who was Alpha was who had the more dominant wolf. It just happened. No one really decided who was more dominant. It just happened when they shifted and everyone saw how strong their wolf was. Does this make sense?
