About the Thanksgiving secret santa thing, I don't think that would be the greatest idea since lots of people don't really celebrate it. |D It's open for discussion though.^^;

Pendragon, I have sooo many stories like that... I can always get the beginnings, and usually some of the end, it's the middle that stumps me. Nice natural colored cat char you've got there I like the siamese points on a part tabby mix (stripes on legs make it a tabby mix, right? not very good with cat markings). I'd like a cat character, but I can't seem to find one that really speaks to me.

As for the secret santa thanksgiving- I think we should start it soon, and make it a secret santa for Christmas:) I love the idea, and I'd like lots of time to do my picture.

Zoey, I was tempted to offer on that one- I'm glad you got it though, I probably wouldn't be able to give it all the attention it deserved.

Lessee.... for genders, I like more males than females, but I want it at a 2/3 m to 1/3 f ratio. In reality, that works something like this: get 5 new characters (not all at once) and decide they are male; get a sixth character, realize I just made a bunch of new characters male, and decide to make it female.

Koiyote, I like the placement of Elk Mange's bell in that picture- looks like it's hanging more on his shoulders, like a scarf, rather than a collar- a little more unique Of course the colors are beautiful and the expression is cute, too

And I just got a new oc. He's going to be related (probably as half-brother) to one of my favorites (yeah, one of 20-something favorites, we get it), Nytidra, in my 'cheerful post-apocalypse' setting/storyline.
Here's the super-cool design by W O L F Y: (yes, I am crazy about mutant canines no matter how ridiculous they'd look in real life, no I cannot explain why)

I've already got character-specific reasons for his green fur (chloroplastic food production), long tongue (hereditary), missing eye (hereditary), and stitches (can't feel pain- which is actually a real hereditary mutation), though I'll probably end up making the manacles on his back legs broken, so he can get around better. Not sure about the other oddities -er, mutations- though, so if you've got an idea, feel free to suggest it.
