Yet I've complete Jhoto about 7 times, Sinnoh (First game) About 10 times and Unova about 3 to 5 times Dx
Someone explain this to me simple as possible without sounding way to scienc-y?
Nature: Natures are the mechanic that influence how a Pokémon's stats grow. From Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver onward, the stats affected by a Pokémon's Nature are highlighted on their summary screens: the increased stat is notated in red text and the decreased stat is notated in blue. A Pokémon's Nature usually affects the growth rate of two of its stats, ultimately increasing one of its non-HP stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed) by 10% and decreasing another by 10%. Natures also determine the Pokémon's favorite flavor and its disliked flavor. A Pokémon's Nature is determined when it is generated by the game: when it is obtained as an Egg from the Pokémon Day Care, when it is encountered in the wild, or when it is given to the player by a non-player character. A nature can be passed to the offspring by breeding if the parent holds an Everstone.
Infomation from pokewiki (more details on each nature on the site)EV: Effort values, abbreviated EVs and officially called base stats, are attributes which give bonuses to an individual Pokémon's stats and improve differently depending which Pokémon they defeat. Effort values, in the form of effort points, are gained in addition to bonuses gained by increasing level. Effort values ensure that trained Pokémon are stronger than wild Pokémon, even those of the same level. Effort points are awarded equally to all Pokémon who participated in defeating a Pokémon. In Pokémon X and Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Super Training can be used to numerically determine the effort points of a Pokémon (also with the help of items and berries). Additionally, a Pokémon will be marked as a Fully Trained Pokémon if it has 510 effort values.
Infomation from pokewikiIV: ndividual values, abbreviated IVs, officially known as individual strengths, and sometimes referred to as determinant values (DVs), are the Pokémon equivalent of genes. They are instrumental in determining the stats of a Pokémon, being responsible for the large variation in stats among untrained Pokémon of the same species. Each of the six battle stats has an IV associated with it, with that IV coming into calculation alongside the Pokémon's base stats and EVs to determine the actual stat number. A Pokémon's IVs are determined when it is generated by the game; when it is obtained as an Egg from the Pokémon Day Care, encountered in the wild, or given to the player by an NPC. IVs have a range of 0-31 (for each stat). Pokémon caught in the Friend Safari will have values of 31 in at least two of their stats and there are special items for breeding. There is a NPC in the newer games that tells you the IVs of the pokemon that you show him. Breeding a pokemon with six perfect IVs is hard, but if you want it for battle, you only need five anyway.
Infomation from pokewikiIn short: They are not really important for normal gameplay, but they are important for online battles.
