I'm in Australia and yeah, Mock blacks are a very poor dark brown not really black but not brown.

And Patchy is patchwork but when writing it multiple times Patchy is easier haha. Sorry for confusion here.

lol, its ok.
In the US we use poor black, or black with rusting.
For doubles rexes, some people call them mock hairless, patchwork,etc depending on the amunt of fur,etc.

its always interesting to learn other terms for different countires

Yeah. Cause here Double Rex is completely different to Patchy, and we don't have hairless so its like Patchy is the beat we can get to a hairless, which sucks really.

My poor new baby Birdie got a cold, but she's on meds for it now, so we nipped that in the bud. She's so gorgeous though, so sweet. I almost forgot how much babies lick and nibble.


One of my close friends in now talking about getting rats. She's fallen in love with Nyx and the twins, and now she wants her own. Her mom would freak though, so she has to wait until she moves out in a few more months. She said she was going to get a pair of them and let me watch them for her until she can have them XD

.. *Flail* I need to find four more adopters to put on my list before I can breed Ocelot and Naomi, and I was supposed to breed them in four more days.. argh..

I'm still learning.. and by far, finding adopters is the hardest part so far. ;-;

Bug and I had a major disagreement today. I leave the cage door open after I get the bowl out, and they usually just crawl out and hang out waiting on the door. Not today, the second I put food in the bowl, Bug hopped out of the cage and walked across my dresser to steal some food! He is such a bad boy lol

Anyways, I have been thinking of adding another boy since there is a siamese male at the ASPCA that I just love. I don't think my mom will let me get another though, much less drive me over a hour away to pick him up. Plus he is 6 months older than Baze and 7 months older than Bug so I am worried about how they would get along...

Bug.. how silly, I almost named one of my ratties Bug, but went with Pochi instead, and Pochi does the same thing, except jumping off of my shoulder like a maniac to get on top of my dresser. r.r Silly boys. ^-^

Younger and older rats usually do get along well, since rats make great fathers and the older ones are more mellow, so long as you have your two youngsters to play with each other, I'm sure they'd get along great if introduced correctly. Haha, over an hour.. It takes me three hours to drive to the nearest ASPCA that has rats.
