Awh, but Gimp is great too! Considering it's free. It has alot of good brushes, and ones you can download too which is cool. Sometimes the simpler things are the more effective anyway. Besides it's way easier to use, it's going to take me forever to get the hang of this Photoshop thingy... D: I'm not sure I can be bothered just yet x3

I don't think I've posted either of these new drawings of mine here yet and would love some feedback.
Fan art for the anime Shiki. Art of one of my characters as a child.I'm also really nervous right now since my laptop has a virus and so I won't be able to draw on Oekaki until it is repaired or I can get a new laptop. I have no idea how long it will take for it to be repaired, or if that's even possible. If I get a new laptop, I really won't be used to drawing with it. I usually draw with a touchpad mouse but have only ever used the one on my current laptop, so I'm worried that if I do end up buying a new one, it will take a long time for me to get back to my usual skill level.

Gone. ~ it being such an advanced program it will, but you'll get a hang of it. Just mess around with it XD
aido ~ Wow aido, your way better than the last time I saw your art. I'm rather jelly of the background perspective on the last one. The arms in the second one are a bit too long though. In the second one the hand looks off, try showing where the finger bends more (shading) and the eyes are a too far from each other. Hope that helps~

Alright, thanks for the help. ^^ That was my first time drawing a really detailed background so it was somewhat of an experiment for me. I tend to have a lot of proportion issues in my work partially because I zoom in quite a bit when drawing and don't look at each section in comparison to the rest of the picture. I try to use photo references of my own hands to help with drawing hands since I usually have a lot of difficulty with that, but I don't often look back to the photos when shading.

Guise... I need you help.
So I got this new Asus laptop without a DVD/CD drive thinking that I wouldn't need it. Thing is, I have no idea on how I can install my tablet onto here now. Anyone have this problem before? I won't be able to draw if I don't have my tablet ;;

You can do what I did. I downloaded it Online.
But before you plugg in your tablet, install a hard drive to make sure you
get pen pressure and so you adjust the way you want things.
click here.
then restart your laptop/pc and plug in your tablet.
I did the other way around because I forgot, I plugged in the tablet first and then installed
but it worked out just fine.
If you have any questions or didn't quite understand, PM me And I can explain more. =)
unless you have a wireless tablet, then i am afraid i can't help
