Yep. I hate that. So for me I try to look at storys I might or have alright started. Sometimes I get a new idea from that. I also listen to music, that helps me with plots and chartacters and sceens.

Music! Or use the things from your daily life to write something. I recently wrote something with just a sliver of reality from my own life to make a scene for my Stage/Drama class. And some of my most recent characters and even stories have come from a few Halloween songs I danced to in my Ballroom Concert. :3

Hey, a little late here, but while we're on the topic of poetry, I want to post something my friend wrote (she's not on CS, though) and see what you guys think. I like it, and she said its okay if I post it, because I fail at poetry and so I'm a really bad critic, so I will. :P

Let the night cast the shadows
Allow the moon to be the light
Watch the fish do their swimming
See the eagles taking flight

Listen as the winds clear your mind
Feel the sea cleanse your soul
Let the sun warm your body
And make your spirit whole

Pour the pain from your memory
Be gentle as a dove
Open up your wounded heart
And heal your scars with love

She doesn't like it much, I think it's good, and I want other opinions. So yeah. :P

Due to real life, I'm extremely inactive right now. So if I don't have my pets organized enough, I might not be accepting trades for a while. Sorry! ~Midnightmoon.

@Rainpelt It really does work! I've actually tried it, and got some pretty cool ideas. Except I didn't do the drunken ghost part. ^^;

I like the drunken ghost part, it was fun (even if my parents stared at me funny)

I have an idea now, woot!

@midnightmoon- I love it! It reminds me of a sonnet that I wrote for a competition in... eigth grade i think...

xD I usually do okay with names; try searching for names online, or use places like Name Nerds for names in Irish or Scottish.
