Yeah, I agree. I feel so bad for Pachoo that she had to get stuff like this just for making edits to her own adoptable, especially with such a great species.
It really cluttered up the fanclub Signing off of this fanclub, I'm just gonna say, I'm not going to listen to anything saying "shame on you" for standing up for someone amazing and their amazing art.

guuuuuys, I love you all so much and I adore this species
and I understand this is all very debatable but all this
fussing is kind of making me, as someone who has been
a member of this species for a long time, not want to
be a part of the Fanclub currently >.<;

How does your Pseudos celebrate Christmas?
Sandrax goes all out, getting very competitive with her
decorations and always being a cheerful holiday person.

Marja just goes with the flow of who ever he is around but
does like getting others gifts and doing nice things.

I was gonna post this tomorrow but it's better said now. non

Firstly, I'm really sorry. The change was drastic, I agree, and I definitely could have taken it more slowly. I didn't mean for it to blow up and cause stress, but it did and I apologize for not keeping active here like I should have. Instead, when I felt upset, I retreated, which was very immature of me.

As Pseudodragons grow and change, staff are welcome to stay or go, or whatever they feel comfortable in doing. I will not judge any staff in the least no matter what they choose to do.

As for the new lines, I will be implementing the critiques offered previously, taking care to aim for simplicity and doing my best to keep the original lines' feel. The current lines will stay for a while until I've set everything up for the new thread.

I know it will be a big change, and change can be hard, but trust me when I say I will do everything I can to keep it as good as possible and make the changes worthwhile. ^^

Thank you to friends who helped me, seriously, you guys are the best and I love you to infinity. Y'all are the raddest people. <3

Pachoo, I honestly love any thing you create, especially in relation to Pseudodragons. It's your species and I love it, if keeping them active means revamps, then that is fine by me! I personally love the new lines, and will love another version of new lines just as much.

It's your species, it should cause you more joy than stress, so, as far as I'm concerned, do what you like.

I'll stick by as a mod as long as you want me, haha

I'm really sorry for the confusion, Pachoo. I never meant to upset anybody, let alone you, when I wrote those posts. I was just trying to make you and Toast see that nobody in the staff is really "rebelling" against you, that if some artists said they would be leaving if the new lines got implemented, it's not because they were ragequitting or mad at the changes. They would do so because staying in the job simply wouldn't work out.

You asked for honest critique and everybody gave theirs as maturely and respectifully as possible... and yet the community got scolded for it. We know you were aiming for a lineart that portrayed the species' body type better, but when it comes to anatomy, just the fact it's an imaginary species doesn't justify flaws in proportion and musculature. Nobody here pointed out at these details just to harass or upset you, we just were trying to help through critique to make a lineart that valorizes this loved species and its unique body type as wonderfully as possible... which we all know very well you can do because you are an amazing artist.

I'm not against changes in a species, in fact it's the complete opposite. I love it when the owner shows such care for their species they are constantly aiming for them to improve. I just think a change of this level could have been handled much more smoothly, specially since the species lineart does have a huge role in catching people's interest. It is a very important change that affects not only the way people will see the species out there, but also all the artists' way of designing.

And the thing is: you don't need to carry such a heavy burden alone. You can always count on the community and the team to help you with this, I'm pretty sure everybody would love to help you develop the perfect lineart for the pseudos through feedback and critique, a lineart everyone, including you, would be happy with. You're not alone, all you have to do is just ask.

Anyway, I'm really sorry for everything. Although I always try my hardest to word my points as calm and respectifully as possible, I know I can end up sounding harsh instead due to my choice of words. I never meant to upset anybody.
