hey guys, thought i'd just pop another question in here:
- Code: Select all
do you tend to see progress throughout your character storage, or does your skill level seem to remain the same on each page?
just wondering cx
for me, my forms and such seem to get wayyy better as i add more to my character storage.
@ailuric: i'd be down for a long term onexone dude(ette?)!

has roleplaying/writing helped you in any way academically?
i think so! i've definitely gotten better with putting more description into the background/actions/feelings and not just "she walked to the door and opened it. she stepped outside. it was cold". also thanks to certain teachers/wanting to reply in a good amount of time i can now write better responses/essays in a shorter amount of time (oh yay timed essays!).
how good are you at replying to roleplays?
i'm pretty good (at least i think so oh). i try not to reply too often so that it doesn't turn into a 1x1.
do you tend to see progress throughout your character storage, or does your skill level seem to remain the same on each page?
well mine went a bit out of order since i just put newer forms over older ones but i think there is a very slow improvement. i haven't been here for long so there isn't drastic changes but... i have at least befriended font veer.
@ anyone who posted a link to their storage: all of your forms are lovely and you should all be proud. c:

it seems to remain the same on each page cx
then again, i recently purged my storage of all old forms / ones i wasn't proud of.
beofre that though, i could see significant improvement imao
@amethyst, oooh, what genres?

it has definitely helped me in writing essays that are more descriptive and
having more information in responses. i use roleplaying as a good teaching
resource to be honest.
how good are you at replying to roleplays?
hahahaha...... um recently i haven't been online much so at the moment
not so good but usually i'm pretty decent at replying if i don't have much
going on.
do you tend to see progress throughout your character storage, or
does your skill level seem to remain the same on each page?
i like to think i'm improving for each form but i do use a lot of repetitive
styles in my forms, which sucks but i mean i'm improving and i always
learn by going through some of my favorite storage threads. it always
helps me motivate to go a bit beyond in each one of my forms.

i am in dire need of help.
i'm not sure how to theme the color scheme for this character form ;v;
not to mention, i lazy-coded the whole thing in a rush.
which might perhaps pose another question as well:
- Code: Select all
how do you decide on which parts of your coding pertain to a color from your color scheme(s)?
if that question made any sense. i find that i often come up with pretty ok color schemes,
but then end up at a loss of how to use them (at least aesthetically) when i need to apply them into my coding.

how good are you at replying to roleplays?
uhhh...bad. i have spent like all day on this reply (i keep getting distracted by netflix)
and before this one, my last response was july 19 because none of my other role plays
have started yet. what's weird is that i give better responses when i'm on mobile and i
have the most muse right after reading responses and i can almost never respond right
then and there.
do you tend to see progress throughout your character storage, or does your skill
level seem to remain the same on each page?
i'm not really sure, honestly. i think it depends on the photo i use and how late at
night it is.
how do you decide on which parts of your coding pertain to a color from your color
scheme(s)?
i tend to hope for the best tbh. once i get the coding all laid out, i either forget to color
it or i constantly switch around the colors until i like the result of it
