Sad news I'm afraid, my baby girl Trixie, had to be put down on Saturday morning. I'd noticed she'd been bleeding from near bum/tail area and that was on Thursday; by Friday I knew something wasn't right so we went to the vets, who advised us to let her stay in over night and gave her some antibiotics. Saturday morning comes and we're told she hasn't improved and the best thing to do would be to put her down. I'm distraught. She was 2 years old.
I feel like such a bad owner as I hadn't been giving her many hugs before she died because she was sleeping more and looked really peaceful. I just wish I could change the last few months.
I can't stop crying
I miss her soo much and also one of two guinea pigs that me and my sister own died 2 weeks ago. At least I saw that one coming and spoilt her rotten. Unlike Trixie. I'm the worst owner ever.
I'm sorry if I let any of you guys down.
