Average amount of time it takes you to finish a book:
This really depends. On average, I read a little over 100 pages an hour, more if the print's large or if it's a YA novel. Most translated books take a little longer, and books with small print take me at least twice as long.
How many of the above symptoms you regularly experience:
> You incessantly spice up conversation with book quotes.
Constantly
> You sit in the back of the movie theater whispering "That's not what happened in the book!" to whatever random stranger happens to be sitting next to you.
I tend to shake my head in disbelief or make small, angry noises rather than whisper, but I always read the book first.
> You bring a book to lunch most days.
Almost every day, but I never seem to actually read it.
> You get so caught up in whatever book you happen to be reading that you a) laugh, b) cry, c) scream at the book, and/or d) throw the book at the wall because you hate how it ended.
I laugh quite a bit. I rarely cry (Hachiko Waits and Love You Forever being the two exceptions). I haven't screamed or thrown a book yet. I angrily mutter at them instead.
> You read so late into the night that you lose track of time, and end up staying up till like three AM.
Yep.
> You've read a book cover to cover in one sitting.
Not in a while, but I have. I like to savor books and read them slowly.
> You've fallen in love with a fictional character.
Yes, but not in actual romantic love. More like friend love.
