This is my Shepherd, Sage.
He is 3 years old, he is neutered, he is the best <3

This is Sage laying on the grass(sorry that he is a bit skinny, he got a tick not that long ago and went downhill, we have paralysis ticks here):

This is Sage(the one eating xD) with his friend Shadow(she is owned by my parents)

Shadow is now 10 years old, she is spayed, she still acts like a puppy.

Too adorable! I'm jealous. xD I can't wait until I get my own Shepherd.

Puppy. I already have a wolf hybrid, but I decided to get a female to create the 'pack' effect. My other Germanshepherd and two Staffies just wont cut it for Jed. The female might be neutered, Depending on if she arrives before Jed goes in for his op. or not. Its not 'responsible' to have a male dog with genitals, I know, but I'd feel bad for him and I can control him well enough as it is.

I wouldnt ever get an adult hybrid, purely because I havent showed them who the boss is when they were younger. Its much easier to 'dominate' a jaw-pressure-less puppy, than a fully grown tear-your-face-off adult.

Ah, cool. :D Is your other Wolf Dog a German Shepherd/Wolf cross too?
That's true too. It's much easier to gain control over a puppy than a full grown adult, especially with Wolf Dogs.
I nearly got a Siberian Husky/Cattle Dog/Wolf mix. She was a 2 year old adult and was great around kids, other dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, cows, and horses. I had actually seen it for myself. (Exactly the kind of dog we were looking for because our neighbor has livestock.)
However, my parents and I came to the consensus that it would be better to get a dog in the summer, where I'll have more bonding time with him/her.
I would rather get an older puppy or an adult dog, just to avoid the puppy messes. However, it's really hard to find a dog that's already socialized and calm around cattle/no apt to chase them. AND that's good around other dogs, cats, and small animals, and that can walk well off-leash without bolting. :/ Especially when it comes to German Shepherds (which is what I'm pretty much set on getting, or maybe a Greyhound) because they can be prone to chasing cattle and small animals if they aren't well enough socialized. So I'm going to have to probably have to get an older puppy and work a lot on socialization and training.h, cool. :D Is your other Wolf Dog a German Shepherd/Wolf cross too?

Long posts are welcome here :)
All of them are cute, + Greyhounds also. Too cute, all dogs :D. Though, I may admit, I love cats more D: so ashamed...
Mex, {can we call you that for short?} I want a German Shepherd also. Plus, your old dog [the one you couldn't keep] sounds great :D My own dog, Roxy, a Yellow Lab, is 9 in human years & 72 in dog years [is that right? or is it the other way around?] and she still is playful, with my great luck. =3 Yet, a bit too hiper...jumps on any person she hasn't seen much or been around for a while who enters our 'territory.' Side-walks count, if the person gets too close. She leaps onto my bro's dog's back and play-fights all the time. Has a very sensitive back herself, and if you press down on it just a little she'll bite you. Gave me a nip this morning when I was trying to tug her away from my friend, she was all over her. D: Roxy, eh, we grew up together. Got her the day after I was born :)
