I'm late diagnosed but it effected my whole life as I look back.
My hyperfocuses include:
Art, Japanese culture, Pokemon, All generations of My Little Pony except FiM, Sanrio, Slime, the small subcultures of the internet ,and animal crossing.

Veering a little off topic from the new members stuffs for a moment, does anyone known of any stim toy companies/brands that y’all would recommend? /NF (Not Forced)
I’m more specifically looking for anything that I can chew on (ie. those more bendy then normal straws that are more for chewing then for straw purposes), but I’m always open to ones that aren’t made with the purpose of chewing on it as well (ie. Fidget Cubes ).

I’m a really heavy chewer, without chew aids I will chew through bottle caps, wooden furniture, my hands etc.

My favourite chew aid/stim is called “chew stixx tough bar”. I haven’t chewed through it yet and I’ve had if for about a month- so it’s great.

I don’t know if you are a heavy chewer but if you are I recommend it so much. It is scented tho (mine is purple grape). The scent is stimmy for me but I know some people don’t like it.

Be completely honest about your support needs, don’t assume it’s not useful information. The more they know about your daily living the better. Also some doctors just…shouldn’t be doctors/don’t know much about Autism, I hope you get a good one.

Hi! I'm Ariete, autistic and OCD as well as maybe ADHD! I used to think I had really severe social anxiety before my diagnosis and realising I just see the world differently to others really helped. My favourite stim toys are chewables! As I was only diagnosed pretty recently, I've had loads of special interests that I've always felt the need to keep quiet about in real life as a part of masking :/ However, I'm starting to learn to really appreciate being autistic and what this means for me!

hi! i'm the fool or bay, and im an autist c: some of my special interest are psychology, neuroscience (currently in an advanced neuroscience summer course for college student! im a high schooler so this is super cool for me!), oncology (i want to work at st. jude's as a family life specialist), warrior cats (almost 9 years haha) and poetry! i wouldn't consider cs a special interest as i haven't been here that long and go days/weeks without being on, but it definetly calms me down! i prefer to right in lowercase (i didnt do that in a lot of my older post cause i thought i was weird for it, but now i realize lowercase text with tone tags works really well for me!) and tend to use a certain font and color cause its pretty. my gender identity is all over the place, but i have my labels in my sig as well as my pronouns. anyways this is super long and im sorry in advance, but i really hope to form some friendships on here c: /pos /gen

hello! my name is caesar, but i also go by vamp and/or alucard. i'm a college student majoring in history
i go by he/vamp/it. along with autism i also have adhd and am currently researching the possibility of having persistent depressive disorder, so i may disappear at points when i don't feel i'm able to talk
my special interests are the band my chemical romance, the anime/series hypnosis microphone, and rhythm games in general! some of my favorite rhythm games at the moment are project sekai, hypmic arb, and dance dance revolution!
i am an adult so please keep that in mind when interacting with me!
