guys i'm really sorry i haven't been posting as much as i wanted to. school's started and it's been tougher than i thought it would be xc but i'm trying my best to be more active again! c:
What Fall Out Boy song would be your 'theme song' and why?
why do you torture me with these questions for some reason i've been listening to pavlove quite a lot. the lyric "i'm the invisible man who cant stop staring at the mirror, at the mirror" has a very special meaning to me <3
@urie ahhh yes i agree. i absolutely love talking about the meaning of lyrics. is it just me or does fall out boy sort of have their own sort of... style of lyrics? i don't know how to explain it. it's like i can sort of feel the lyrics, if that makes sense. it might just be because of personal experiences, but i can literally feel them. cx

like i can answer that .o. anyways, i really like death valley & where did the party go at the moment, so i'd probably go with those. i just kinda like the whole feel of the songs, or the SRAR album in general, i suppose, but that's besides the point.
all of you are saying your favorite lyrics and i can't choose that omg

irresistible is a close second, but i feel like the chorus is kind of totally irrelevant?? the rest of the verses are so full of meaning and i just feel like the chorus, as far as the lyrics go, are kind of random. it doesn't make it any less enjoyable, obviously, but.
What Fall Out Boy song would be your 'theme song' and why?
okay, this question is really hard to answer. i want to say champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends because of the "they say, 'you want a war? you've got a war.' but who are you fighting for?" part and the "we drown traitors in shallow waters" part, because hashtag relatable, u feel me? but that'd have to mix with the (shipped) gold standard, because it makes me feel really strange in a really good way. like, chicago (oops ugh im so basic) screams for me, and my heart is just being pulled there, and i just want to leave here, you know? i don't know. both of those songs just resonate with my soul.
I love those songs. I was singing The (Shipped)Gold Standard's Chorus (I want to scream I love you from the top of my lungs) To my friend as I joke on my riding yard and anyway there were clients behind me and I didn't realise and I spun on my heel, saw them, let out like a raptor screech and then ran into the wall...
I really love Champagne For My Real Friends because the lyrics are beautiful. I really like them. I can just relate to pretty much any Fall Out Boy song.
same! i love how broad lyrics are, because you can really resonate with any of them if you interpret it right. ovo

☁xxx I have a question for you guys, if that's alight! I've been listening to infinity on high for the first time lately, so:
- Code: Select all
What's your favourite song from Infinity on High?
I'm thinking mine's Hum Hallelujah (can you tell from my sig?xD), or Bang the Doldrums.

Well the first Fall Out Boy song I listened to (that I recognised) was Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, so that has to be my all time favourite from IOH. I also really like Hum Hallelujah because the lyrics are just spot on. They both really tell a story.
But I also really like Golden. Don't get me started on Golden. And "The take over, the breaks over" because it's such a catchy song. When my dad first got Believers Never Die, one of the other songs I started to recognise was that. I'm Like A Lawyer is amazing too.

hhh this is a really tough one. A lot of my favorites are from this album,, my favorite is probably Youre Crashing, but Youre No Wave. that song is just so ?? energetic and kind of suspenseful. I also really enjoy the story-telling element of it.

yay my favorite album! also yay my first post! I remember always loving Fame < Infamy, even when I first got the album and wasn't into FOB as much as I am now, so I suppose it would be my favorite. Also I love I've Got All This Ringing in My Ears and None On my Fingers. ^^

What's your favourite song from Infinity on High?
this albsdfiukdnkmds i can't. i love all of these songs so much for so many different reasons. the carpal tunnel of love was one of the first songs by fall out boy that i really fell in love with. i just love the sound of it. and high notes???? in bang the doldrums, my favorite part is pete!?!?! 10/10. you're crashing but you're no wave is also one of my favorites because the sound of it is just amazing. i love the part in the background when they sing, "i'm broken down on memory lane. we're alone together, we're alone." ya feel yA FEEL. this album is so good hhh. in i'm like a lawyer, i love how he says, "and the best way to make it through with hearts and wrists in tact, is to realize two out of three ain't bad," because yes. good advice. hum hallelujah causes me physical pain i love that song SO MUCH. NAISOFNKDJ. this entire album is probably number two on my list of favorite fall out boy albums. the first is from under the cork tree.
but the (after) life of the party is probably my favorite from that album. i absolutely love everything about that song.
EDIT;; FORGOT ABOUT THRILLER. LET'S NOT TALK ABOUT THRILLER. hhhh //weeps
