Pikachu is cool in the anime but WAY over powered. Have to admit he/she/it is cute though!

That's the one I went for in the end. I like blue, so I went with X c: 'cause Xerneas is pretty and blue.

What shinies have you guys got in this game so far? I bred a shiny Dedenne, and I found a random shiny Druddigon on Victory Road. Since I've transferred my old shinies from previous games, I'm building up quite a collection.

Also, what's your favourite of the new Mega Evolutions? I like Absol and both Charizard forms so far.

and btw I haven't found ANY SHINIES ANYWHERE. Some are saying it's harder to get shinies in x and y

Actually, I believe the opposite is true. Most people on the two Pokemon related sites I'm a member of say that the shiny chance was actually increased in XY.
