How many of you have overpaid for a dream pet, or have had someone overpay for a dream pet? When you own a store, and you sell different brands of an item, but one brand is specifically popular, you're going to get more for it, because a lot more people want it, right? Well, the same goes for demand on CS. Without demand, not everything would be as rare as it is. Everyone on CS will have their personal preference. So, when you say you wouldn't trade an August lion for a non tag, would you really do it? IF in the rare occurrence someone was willing to pay that, even when the whole lion craze happened, you would most likely take the trade because of the value. If you don't, you are just settling for less... Now who wants less of something that they could get more of? Would you rather have one cookie, or two? One bathroom, or four bathrooms? I know, a weird comparison, but you would want more than less. And if someone was willing to pay for it, I say let them make the mistake. HOWEVER, when you are auctioning a pet, such as a Shima longtail, and add ridiculous boosters, let alone autos, for it, that's when people think their pet is all that and a bag of chips and won't be able to get rid of it. That's basically them feeding the demand they think is there. I don't have anything against demand, really. I just figured maybe you guys can see this side of the arguement.
