Why, you may ask? Well, it's kinda hard to stay asleep when your mind is making you dream about a fangirl war... O.o

It was really scary because I was on Thor's side(as I normally am)and everyone else was tryin to kill me.. O-O

I must say that I prefer Loki in Thor rather than in The Avengers as in Thor he seems to be more lost and looking fr his place in th world where as in The Avengers he is a bit mad and looking for revenge where it cant be found. Plue the fact in Avengers he is just being used. Though I do find it very funny when he tries to control Stark...... AND FAILS MWAHAHAHA yea he is quite an epic character though

In Thor, he really was lost. He had just found out that his entire life was a lie, and he was brought up to think that Frost Giants were beneath him. At that point, he's not sure who he is, and then he's handed Odin's staff by Frigga, and that's where the hunger for power comes from. He hadn't even wanted the throne to begin with.



Tom has said it so many times in interviews (it's almost a standard Tom Hiddleston interview question), that Thor is the movie where Loki is lost and looking for his place. In Avengers, he knows exactly who he is.

I think it's especially Tom's acting that brings Loki to life. Like, this scene:

There's just so much emotion, and the range that he goes through is mind blowing.

He goes from sad and devastated about finding out his life is a lie to angry, full of rage, at the person who lied to him his entire life.





I can't see anyone else portraying him.
