Sample of writing: I'm going to cheat and copy something from an RP I'm in. x3 Unless that's what you're supposed to do. xD
Derrin watched Lucien trot off to one of the many screams and flattened his ears. The screaming was driving him insane, like a bee buzzing around his head that he was unable to kill. He frowned and covered his paws with his ears.
To his disapointment, no one was coming. Did they not hear the call? Were they too hurt to make their way over? He sighed. If no one came to him, he would have to come to them. He decided to stay a minute more, and watched the remains of the fires smolder and sputter. He chuckled grimly to himself, an expression of disgust on his face.
We should have known it would come to this...

Derrin chased the thoughts away from his head, switching them to his still unseeing right eye. The pain had subsided a bit, but there was a constand throbbing, pulsating feeling that wasn't very natural at all. A small trickle of unknown liquid dripped from his hurt eye onto his fur. Angrily, he wiped it away with his paw.
What seemed like hours to Derrin, which actually only was a couple of minutes, passed. A low fog descended onto the battle field, covering the ground.
Treacherous... he observed. The fog covered the ground and made it almost impossible to see what you were stepping on. A small spike could easily enter you foot and make you unable to walk if you weren't careful enough...

Finally, someone came. Relieved, he looked at the lycan. She was young, with reddish brown fur. She trotted shakily over to him, seeming unharmed other than the nasty gash and bump on her head. She tripped over a fog-covered brick and lurched forward, but recovered and stabilised herself. With a smile, she looked up at Derrin.
"I'm Azelma," she said, sitting down on a large boulder.
Derrin was puzzled. How could someone be smiling in the chaotic, grim place? He frowned, which moved his hurt eye's socket rather painfully.
"Derrin," he said gruffly. "Gotta wait for others."

Derrin was a man of few words and didn't see the point of blabbering on. He sat, still and silent, watching the fog drift sluggishly over the ground.
--------------------------------------------
Azelma was relieved when she finally located the caller. He had seemed a bit abrupt, but who wouldn't be? Well, not counting her. She made it her duty to smile, even in the toughest of times. A smile can work miracles. She looked Derring up and down, grimacing at his eye. It was a rather ugly sight, as there was a gash running its way from halfway up the right side of his forehead, through his eye and down to his cheekbone. A disgusting substance oozed from the eye and she made a small face of disgust.

However, she was sure that she wasn't the prettiest sight either, though somewhat less unsettling to look at. Her head throbbed from when a few remains of the building had fallen on her. She could feel that her scalp was cute open and bleeding. Thankfully, she had no broken bones. Dizzily, she rested her chin on her hand, gazing out at the destruction.

Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have: None yet, I'm in the process of making two. 83 At the same time.

This is a great idea. <3

Edit: The typos are driving me crazy. o_o I type too fast. Dx

Footsteps sounded. The rhythmic cadence got closer through the rain. The young elf's eyes suddenly opened, scared. Anxiously, she stood, looking around. 'Who's there?' her voice cracked. Whoever it was, it had to be insane to go out on that storm.

But insanity was exactly what moved her pursuer. A face appeared, lit by a lightning. 'Wh - who are you?' the elf girl repeated, terrified.

'Me?' the word came with a crack of laugh 'I'm your Terror' the voice was heard over the howling wind.
A new lightning, this time followed by Terror's blade, who grew on the elf's chest.

One last scream got through her lips. She was going to die.
Blood.
Darkness.
Pain.
Peace.

Chapter 1

Vaëli sighed while she stroked her own hair. She needed a bath. Vaëli was a dark elf, already with her twenty springs. Her bravery already had won her the nickname 'Dark Blade', and not without reasons.
Even so, her beauty was something transcendent: her black hair was down to her waist, and her eyes were ice blue. Her movements were graciously cat-like.

A noise between the foliage made her startle. She turned around, her fingers clasped on her scimitar's handle.
By some moments she saw nothing. However, with a second look, Vaëli distinguished eyes glowing. An impressive wolf came out from the bush. 'Fenrir...' Vaëli murmured respectfully.

'Dark Blade.' the wolf replied.
'I didn't knew you were around...' the elf tried to start a conversation.
'I've got important issues. I've got to talk wit you.'
Vaëli took a deep breath. 'And?'
'A young mountain elf was slayed this night on her house...'
Vaëli interrupted. 'So Terror was having fun...'
'Exactly.' Vaëli sighed. 'And what do you want me to do? I could never match Terror.'
Fenrir wagged his tail, annoyed. There was no time to chat. 'You'll have to claim revenge. Orders from Jöllwin.'

Vaëli nodded coldly. Jöllwin was a powerful mountain elf. Probably he knew the slayed girl, and if he told her to claim revenge Vaëli would have to. She wasn't very fond of him, but there was nothing to do. 'Say him I'm on the way.' the dark elf told the wolf, then walking away into the woods.

Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have: used to have Lonely Forest and Legacy, but they're dead now so here is DragonDawn: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=87425#p2313661

Favorite type of RP: Horses, wolves, modern and medieval, fantasy-based roleplays.
Sample of writing:

Within the depths of our souls and minds we are lost. We our lost to our families, to our faith in this world, and to the land we thought would protect us from every possible danger.

The Winter was a dry one and we thought it a blessing when really it spelled our doom.

We know not what caused that first fateful spark, but everything went up in flames. It spread so fast that those who survived were few and far between.

Like the cowards we are we fled our home and abandoned our families to seek our own shelter. Mothers lost their children and children lost their mothers. Mates were lost to one another and fathers were lost to all.

It has been nearly four months since that fateful day. It was two weeks before the fire burned out. We lived off what we could find in the snowy passes of the mountains. Even more perished in that time.

We have now traveled back to our land. More and more come every day, searching for surviving family and mourning their losses.

Some believe that this was the land's punishment for our behavior. We have been selfish and have only depended on ourselves as herds instead of depended on each other as equines.

Whatever the reason we now need one another in this time of dire need. The grass grows back slowly and the trees have yet to burst with nutritious leaves.

Unfortunately we cannot trust one another so easily. Those that have become resigned to our need have joined the Central, but there are still those focused on familial ties and refuse to leave the herds they have known their whole lives.

But we shall survive now and for generations to come for we are a new era.
We are the children of the Burning West.

Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have: None yet. But I'd like to start a modern type wild West roleplay that includes horses, wolves, dogs, cats, and many other animals along with humans. Maybe incorporate a little bit of fantasy. o:

This is such a good idea!

Favorite type of RP: Human/humanoid. Light fantasy, nothing too crazy. Things like magic (ie harry potter/hogwarts) or societies/communities
Sample of writing: Bear in mind this... won't make too much sense out of context (and I know there were some typos in there that I was going to fix, but I forget where they were XD )

Jesse had long since made the decision that he could handle it by himself, the never ending nightmare. For a long time he refused to go to the hospital wing and he didn't have enough faith in his potion making abilities to try and brew up some dreamless sleep. And it had been a long time since he'd made he choice to stop running to the fourth year dorm like a scared child. He was 17, after all, he could take care of himself. And he thought maybe, just maybe, if he spent less and less time with Amaury, all the way down to none, the nightmare might stop.

He never would have imagined that it could, and would, get worse.

Tonight, when he fell quickly into the fourth stage of sleep, there was screaming. Before the flash of green light there was the echoing curse of "Crucio!" and then the air was rent with a noise he never thought he'd hear. It was ear splitting and even in his sleep Jesse could feel the hairs raise on the back of his neck. They were the screams of someone who would take anything over this pain, even... and then there was silence. Two words barely audible over the screams, a flash of green light, then silence.

The hooded figure had vanished, leaving only the crumpled body on the ground, what looked like a pile of black robes until he got close enough to see better. Everything seemed more vivid tonight for some reason, and Jesse picked up all the shadows and sheen of the black hair that had fallen, disheveled, over Amaury's face. This was where the dream had ended before, where he'd woken up, but tonight he wasn't waking.

He kneeled hesitantly next to the body, reaching out one hand and gingerly running his fingers through the black hair and, drawing in a deep breath, carefully combing it back off of his face. Jesse's own face fell as he found himself caught in the blank, empty stare of warm brown eyes, and for a moment he couldn't breathe. But resolutely his hand reached out again, gently closing Amaury's eyelids, then stroking his cheek, which still held warmth even though there was nothing there. Slowly, shyly, Jesse leaned in close and brushed his own lips against Amaury's lifeless ones.

He woke up then, drenched in sweat and crying, and all thoughts of staying out of the fourth year dorm left him. He hadn't woken up crying in months. His feet carried him down the tower stairs and to the door of Amaury's room and any sense of consideration he had for Amaury and his roommates left him as he loudly slammed the door open and stalked into the room.

With one hand he tore back the curtains from Amaury's bed while his other hastily brushed away tears. "That's it!" His voice was raised, but not quite to the level of yelling; just loud, and frustrated, and slightly choked from crying. "I'm sick of this, I'm sick of every night being ruined by this sodding dream, sick of waking up, sick of being scared to sleep in the first place, and every night it's you! You, you you! And tonight... UGH! Why on earth is this HAPPENING, and why does it have to be YOU?!?!

Any semi-lit/lit RPs you have: None at the moment. Joining one here, I forget what it's called.
