To anyone who might read this: What is your favourite dinosaur and why?

Mine's Parasaurolophus. Just love those things. The more i learn about them, the more i love them! They might not have any dangerous claws or sharp teeth but they have their own charm! Big reptile cows with honking instrument on their head. What's not to love about a creature like that. π
Deinonychus is my favourite. When I was a kid, I had a bright orange plushie one and something about it just made me fall in love with them.
Nice choice! Deinonychus is actually what the raptors from Jurassic Park are, despite what some of the off-shoot games say like Jurassic World: Evolution and Jurassic World: Alive. At the time it was believed Deinonychus WAS Velociraptor, hence why they're called Velociraptor in the novel rather than Deinonychus. It's also why the dig is in North America rather than Asia. Crichton wanted a human-sized raptor so he used Deinonychus as the basis of the raptors. A few years later, Utahraptor was discovered, the "real" raptors from Jurassic Park.

Cool. I didn't know that. I've been rather behind on research since I was a kid. How do you keep up with current research?
Have any suggestions for cool fiction? I've been reading a few things lately:
Jurassic Park,
The Lost World,
The Land That Time Forgot, and
Dragon Teeth. I've also just started playing
Horizon Zero Dawn, which combines prehistory and future tech in a cool steampunk-esque way, kind of like
Cloud Atlas.

Documentaries and books mainly. I find the internet to be too unreliable.
And a fiction series I used to read as a kid is called Dinosaur Cove. I don't know any other dinosaur fiction books apart from Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Lost World. And a few games about dinosaurs I'd suggest are The Isle, Beasts of Bermuda, Ark: Survival Evolved and Jurassic World: Evolution.

I don't think all dinosaurs were feathered, but I do believe that the raptors were almost definitely feathered.

Yes but only some have physical, fossil evidence.
