I feel you, I've been at this game for over a decade too (though this new account I'm using is probably only two or three years old) and I've only ever taken long hiatuses from it, I've never actually left it because I always come back to it :' )))

Also since you play OSRS and you mentioned getting your RuneMetrics page later, does that mean OSRS does have RuneMetrics and I just couldn't find it? ^^;; I'm not too familiar with the OSRS setup.

I looked it up and apparently Runemetrics isn't a thing for OSRS but I must be going crazy because I swear I've used it before on my account. There has to be some other progress/skill tracker I'm forgetting about this is gonna drive me nuts

Sadly I wouldn't know for sure:' ))) I've looked all over and I could never find one for OSRS either. I don't think you're forgetting anything, it looks like there really isn't any kind of progress tracker for OSRS. Wish they would make one though, it's nice having an update feed for RS3.

Glad to have you join the thread, it's still relatively new and it's going pretty slow, especially since sometimes I don't reply for a while ^^;;

I've been on and off too, though I haven't played for a month or so myself... I've been really caught up in other responsibilities, but I'm hoping to get back into it soon.

I used to be only f2p for a while when I was younger, and I had plenty of fun with it even then. I take advantage of being able to be a member now, but I kinda miss the old days where I was happy being f2p xD I even had more friends who were online frequently, but I think that's just because RS was more popular back then.

Anything else you'd like to tell us: I kind of go off and on the game every few weeks, sometimes I'll play every day for a while, other times I won't for weeks. I've only JUST come back after not playing regularly for years. :')

I mostly wanted to post as an update, even though this thread was already not getting much attention anyway!

A few months ago, my PC's hard drive died a bitter death, and for the time being my only backup is an old Windows 7 that can't do much of anything. Unfortunately, "anything" also includes RuneScape, even on the lowest graphics settings. ^^;;

So because of that, even though I wanted to get back into playing the game and maybe post some funny screenshots of me and my pals, I won't be able to post any updates from my end. Happy questing to the rest of you though, hopefully I'll be back in the game with a new PC soon!

Hey guys, I know it's been a while but it's time to give an update!

I apologize for not being very active on this thread for quite some time (or in-game as well, for that matter). Unfortunately, some time back in October, my PC's hard drive got bricked and I am stuck using an older PC that just can't run RS. But as of yesterday, my mom is letting me use her old PC for JUST RuneScape, and it's working out great! So now I'm back and able to play daily again.

That being said --- How is everyone doing with the new Archaeology skill? I'd love to hear everyone's opinions and tips and tricks that they have for leveling. I've noticed that leveling is pretty fast, though so far I've only gotten up to 23. The boosts you can get from relics seem pretty helpful, so I'm really keen on working towards getting those.

Awh it's great that you can play again!

I played for a little while when Archaeology was released and I think I got to around... 25ish, maybe? The skill is quite fun but I ended up getting frustrated that there was no way to check the soil at Al Kharid because I did not feel like going back to Varrock every few inventories (even with the soil box). I didn't really explore any other dig sites (I don't even know what others there are), and there are definitely a few elements of the skill I don't understand but hopefully when I get back into the swing of playing again it'll all click for me.
