I'm slowly working on updating Emblem's outfit! For the longest time he was really barren, now he just needs the Veteren's Leg Scars, Teardrop Pearl Ring, Simple Gold Bracelets, Simple Gold Wing Bangles, and the Simple Gold Wing Cuffs.

Emblem is my practical/magical use tattoo artist. he dips his claw into the magic ink his tail feathers secrete and uses that to do his tattooing. Once he's finished with the design, he enchants them to any color the recipient wants using images drawn from their mind. While he does this, his enchantments imbue each tattoo with magical properties depending on what each recipient wants their tattoo to do.
Tattoos on hands, legs, wings are usually used to imbue those limbs with strength while those on heads usually deal with knowledge/creative pursuits. He's done ear tattoos on deaf dragons to let them hear again and has done them(carefully) on the eyelids of blind dragons to grant them sight.
However, each tattoo, depending on its use, wears him out depending on how powerful the recipient wants their tattoo. Those meant for prolonged use or those that will be put under a lot of strain take a lot more out of him than those that won't be exposed to serious magical droughts. So those will cost exceptional amounts compared to those that are for aesthetic purposes only or are used sparingly/not put under a lot of strain.
On the rare occasion he'll do piercings as well, but strictly for aesthetic purposes since imbuing physical objects instead of self-regulating living beings is far more dangerous and draining.
He did all of his own tattoos and even etched into his own pearl. He's collected a fair amount of scars through the years since he... doesn't get along all that great with everyone he meets. His wry, dry, sarcastic personality tends to rub others the wrong way if they don't know him all that well so he's seen his fair share of fights. He wears each scar proudly though and has a soft spot for hatchlings and regaling them with inflated stories of how he got each and every scar.
Also, you make fun of his scarf and you're never seen again
(Wow, that got a lot longer than I intended it to. I think him and Serezhi now are my only two dragons with a lot of lore...)
