super happy rn because i finally found out what my favorite succulent ever (harold) is! he's a hawthoria retusa! he's kinda sad-looking right now but i added some more top dressing to his pot so his leaves won't touch the soil (that reduces rot) and i'm gonna make sure he gets enough sunlight and water. i really love that littly dude

He's super cute! I like your use of the pebble mulch to reduce rot. I do that too.
My succulents do great in the spring and summer when I have them out side but boy, are they not happy when I have to bring them in for the winter. I got some inexpensive LED aquarium lights because up here in New England we don't have the bright light in the late fall and winter that succulents crave.

recently, one of our succulents was overpowered by an egg slime mould

and we had to remove it and sanitise the area so the others wouldn't get sick. ;4;
it was the strangest thing; the day before it was perfectly healthy??

my babies are all indoors so they should be safe from moulds (i live in Cold Wet Britain... you cannot keep succulents outside here)
