Just wanted to pop in and list all the ones still up for adoption since there are several right now, in case anyone missed one.





Also, anyone have pallet suggestions for future Aphelios? Things you'd like to see more of in terms of design? I think I'm gonna try doing a themed litter at some point, possibly 'pixel' themed (since that is kinda my specialty aha).

And also wanted to know how interested you guys would be in lore/world-building?

I have both Abyss' and Radio's worlds slightly planned on my head. Abyss' one is the most amusing one, while Radio's hold a somewhat dark story... All because I guess things don't always come right and everyone makes mistakes and so on.

I guess we could all share our world ideas at some point?

Also, for palettes, I don't know why but maybe an Avatar (James Cameron) themed ones? Or Star Wars, Star Trek *thinking of space wise things*

Actually I was thinking more just in general for all Aphelios, like what kind of control they have over their planet/s or galaxy, whether family groups are common or not, what kind of life normally lives on their planets (if intelligent, do they know the Aphelio exists?), how they travel through space (I mean if they float it can take hundreds of years just to get to the next planet, that sounds pretty boring aha). That kind of stuff. I mean I've discussed it some with Pan already cause I love that kind of stuff, but I'm wondering if anyone else is interested in knowing that kind of stuff, or has questions on it?

But yeah honestly I'd love to hear about everyone's Aphelio's and their planets and whatnot! Like what their first planet was like, how many they have, do they constantly watch over them or let them go their own course? Any planets with intelligent life? Did they watch it evolve, do they interact with them at all, what the said intelligent society is like, ect ect. I'm super interested in all of that. I have my eye on #16 and I'm probably gonna go overboard with this stuff aha. (on that note, I'm actually trying to make my biggest pixel art to date of them right now)

I would totally do a space-themed adopt if I thought I could pull that off aha. Maybe if I do that pixel litter I could do one in there (I always love pixel space pictures, but I'm afraid to try doing it pfft)

Im going to go ahead and share Cecils little world then! Im still developing it a lot and stuff, so its not a lot of info, but I thought Id put it down here c:
Cecil has the biggest green thumb in space, and he absolutely loves growing and tending to plants of every kind. He has a smaller planet, but its big enough for him. Plants of every kind grow on the plane; and since he can decide anything and everything on this planet, he arranges different kinds of trees, vines, flowers and shrubs in unusual ways that we as humans are not used to seeing due to the restrictions of earth. He experiments with many different layouts and combinations.
When I visualize Cecils planet, I see lush green forests, littered with colorful flowers and fruits, and vines tastefully covering the forest floor. Other parts of the planet have wide meadows with every kind of flower imaginable, arranged in breathtaking gradients. Other parts, for the spookier, gloomier moods, have dead trees, withering plants, and black leaves scattered all over. This part is the easiest to tend to, obviously.
The only living organisms on this planet are the bugs that are necessary to help the plants (such as bees for pollination, and flies and stuff for the venus fly traps, etc). Though Cecil could technically tend to these plant needs himself, he prefers to mimic earth a little bit, and its one less job for him.

Cecils favorite thing in the world to do is to take long strolls through his planet, admiring everything that he has created. Sometimes, if he is feeling like the planet needs a change; something fresh and new, he simply sets fire to everything and starts over (plus it feels super cool to like, set a whole planet on fire).

^Its suuper suuper rough and the wording is horrible because i should be going to sleep but ye, thats basically the gist of the planet. c:

I'm Purple and I currently own one aphelio, and am trying for a second to give my first a mate c:
I don't really participate in species communities - well, I don't own very many species but still ;u;

Talking about mates, I don't know if I had asked this before, probably not because I can't find it on my Pms, but does gender matter for breeding Aphelios? If we're to follow their biology doesn't seems like it matters much, but I did want to ask anyway. I saw Purpleleily mentioning mates and I remembered that I don't want my boys to be with each other, but with other people so we can get a family going and so on xP

Now, about my babies worlds...

Abyss is my first Aphelio and number three on the creation thing... Not that I do mind about this, but when I began p,anning stuff I guess he would have been around longer and so on. Yet he had kept his entire attention on one experimental planet which was his second created world. The first one was so small and so on that it become the moon for this second planet. By now the planet is inhabited by some species with two mainly smart ones who live in totally different societies as one of them is composed by hunters, and those inhabit the sky and canopy of trees and a second one which is composed by beings that work the earth and are pretty much vegetarians. Both species are in harmony though, because those who plants crops have a way to keep the plants and vegetations thriving, which feed the 'animals', while those who inhabit the Sky provide those on the floor protection against predators.

All in all, the world highly resemble Pandora and both societies are very primitive and totally lack of technology except for fire that had been recently discovered. Abyss works really hard though to not commit the same mistakes that happened on earth and does his best the entire time to keep harmony, a perfect balance between everything.


Now for Radio, things didn't go that smooth. His first planet withered within the effects of radiation, apparently their shiny lights were pretty but deadly. For him it was a pain to see everything slowly die and so he kind of gave up for sometime, turning his back to the world as he wasn't able to see it slowly die. The thing is that... When he tried to make himself a new world he simply couldn't and so he found himself on a hard work to try and heal the first one back up, this is why he has all that anti-radioactive equipment and so on. The only alive things in there for now are weird plants, highly mutated by radiation and pools shining with radiation as well. But there something alive in there, Radio just don't know it yet.

Yeah, any gender can breed with any other gender, they physically breed by mixing orbs, so gender doesn't come in or effect it in any way.

Finally finished my art of #16, 5 hours later aha. This is the biggest pixel art I've ever done so far ;u; I really like how it came out though. I might also make a lineart for an avatar later on?

I am a non-owner but at the moment I am trying for two who caught my eye. I really look forward to create stories with my first Aphelio soon^^
