Would you rate yourself as beginner, intermediate, or experienced archer? (please be honest): Intermediate. I can shoot a bullseye at about thirty yards if I try hard enough.
Preferred type of bow (recurve, compound, etc.): Traditional.
Preferred type (target, field, flight, etc.): Target. My yard's not big enough for anything else. T-T
Do you hunt or hope to hunt in the future?: Possibly~
Do you compete or hope to compete in the future?: Naa, I just want to shoot for fun~
Preferred aiming technique? (Barebow or sight)?: I always use barebow.

yeah, recurve bows are alot more common it seems. a longbow is, as the name suggests, alot longer and is in the shape of a D. you don't have an arrow support on it, so you rest the tip on the handle [at least, that's what i do] i learned on a recurve and I must say, a longbow is alot harder to shoot, but hey, the challenge is a welcome. helps you get better :D
