I don't think the fanbase will ever truly die out. We're like roaches that way. Love live Homestuck.

I've come across a lot of people saying that the pilot was atrociously bad, but honestly aside from a few specific gripes I had with it I sort of hope it keeps going. As long as they listen to viewers' feedback, I would love a full Homestuck animated series eventually.

Frr I completely agree! I didn't really agree with people saying there was too much swearing, like yeah its a Spindlehorse trademark but it's also a Homestuck trademark lol, I think it fit, which I don't even like how much swearing is in Helluva Boss and HH. Idk I thought it had charm to it -- I also rlly hope fan input is included because we've been keepin' it alive solo for a whiiiiile.

Oh boy I'm always here to remind people that Homestuck was/is a thing.. It was still a very silly feeling to see this form in the recent posts section!! :33

Homestuck is pretty much still an ongoing thing. Sure, Hussie (supposedly) stepped away, but Homestuck Beyond Canon, while, y'know, literally being ambiguously canon, is still an official continuation of Homestuck.
And let's not forget that Hiveswap is still in development.
The official Homestuck discord is super active (or so I've heard), and they have tried reviving the forums, which also went pretty well. There's also still Homestuck events, and there's also still merch being made (like the plushies).

I don't blame people for thinking that it's over/dead, because the fandom is definitely not as loud as it once was.
