Hello, everyone!! Apologies for the lack of updates. Lots of new and exciting things on the way for the Tamagotchi community in 2026 and many exciting things have happened since September 2025! As a disclaimer, all images and links provided will come from official Bandai Japan, other Tamagotchi official social media pages, or from official Tamagotchi partners. I do not claim ownership of any of their promotional materials or associated content shared here. Not all products will be available in all countries, although I'll do my best to indicate where they might be available for purchase.

2026 is the Tamagotchi 30th anniversary! As a result, there are many special collaborations and products being offered and on the way.

The New York Toy Fair happened in March of this year, and we got to see some of the exciting things ahead there for North America. Please check out ToLoveL's video on YouTube here to see how that looked! In my opinion, the most exciting one of the upcoming Original releases is the 30th anniversary art box, art featured below. I'm also excited for the Raspberry and Lemon Y3K Originals with carrying cases.

Other items and collabs already announced or released outside of the Toy Fair, in no particular order:

- Kura Sushi collab at US and Japan locations with special prizes, runs from may 1st to june 23rd, 2026

-Mametchi Memories color-screen nano (PREMIUM BANDAI JAPAN ONLY, preorders closed May 14th, release date in August 2026)

- Tamagotchi Celebration Reflection Gen 3 (Angel), currently available internationally through Amazon since February

Another important anniversary highlight is that the USA Tamagotchi tour will be making stops again through more locations than last year's tour, with many exciting products! The product list, locations and dates are NOT yet available, but I'll be sure to share more information here about that once we know more. They announced the dates last year pretty close to August, so I would anticipate the tour coinciding with August announcement until the official birthday in November.

It's also Pretty Cure's 30th anniversary! As a special collaboration, Tamagotchi created a set of new color-screen nanos for the collab, using the Petit Cure/Precure Faeries character roster. This device was available through Premium Bandai Japan for preorder until May 14th. Official release for this device is scheduled for October 2026. You may be able to still locate additional preorders for these items through resale sites like JapanYouWant, ZeninTCG, Nin-nin-games and others. This is a Japanese-exclusive item. I encourage you to use an abundance of caution if preordering from other sites than the ones I just listed.

NEW TAMAGOTCHI PARADISES

In addition to Pink Land, Blue Ocean, Purple Sky, and Jade Forest, two new shells enter the fray.
Meet the White Glacier, and Orange Tropics shells. These devices have new characters available on them, and the Glacier and Tropics add new features unavailable on the other four devices. With the Glacier and Tropics devices, enjoy new mini-games when connecting two devices! Additionally, all new Planetary Travel destinations will be available to visit. Connection games are not available when connecting the Land, Forest, Sky, or Ocean devices. (Packaging shown below is for the Japan and Asia version. Devices will be available internationally. Preorders available on Amazon.)



They have also announced Premium sets which come with a collectable silicone case and knob cover to change your Tamagotchi's style and protect it from scratches. It is my understanding that these are currently Japan-only, with no announcements for this to be available in other countries yet. There are other silicone and plushie cases available as well, and lanyards. No indication if these will be purchasable in other countries.

And of course, there are many other Japan-exclusive sticker sheets and other products coming soon!

i’ve heard reports that some EB Games locations in Canada have received the tropical & glacier devices early! i’ll report back here with any findings shared from community discord servers
