I added 462 words to my story today, yippee! I'm torn between editing as I write or getting the entire first draft out of the way first before editing. Thoughts? How do you guys usually do it?
I kinda do both. XD
When I start on my story for the day or session, I usually read back what I last worked on and make tweaks here and there before I start writing new stuff in earnest. Occasionally I'll go back up to an earlier section for a plotline edit, but I don't try to do the complete story in it's entirety until I'm finished writing it completely.

I generally just get the whole thing out first, maybe making a few small edits. I try not to edit a lot because with first drafts, you may go back and rewrite a whole chapter so its just a waste of time to be making it perfect in the beginning. Congrats on your word count!
